    We recently started a new 10-gallon tank (with fish). Unfortunately I learned about tank cycling after we purchased the tank and fish. The Nitrites spike a week or so in and I was using the (more expensive) multi-tests. The multi-tests worked fine (and were consistent with this product), but after a week or so I really only needed to test for the Nitrite. The test is simple and easy to read and can be operated by my 9 year old.
