Greater than one weekThis pad works well for cleaning and polishing in the filter. Have a bit of a hard time when I try to cut it to fit my Seachem Tidal, but I get it close to size. Will buy again.

> 3 dayIf you desire to keep your fish tank clean and have clear water without cloudiness, these are the finishing touch. No doubt about it, the filters are easy to cut and the quality is superb!

> 3 dayDefinitely use both the media pads together and make sure the fine is on the bottom. They clean up well when dirty so you can reuse them.

> 3 dayI have been working on cycling my aquarium for about a month and a 1/2 now and have really been struggling with the nitrites. Despite the many water changes and beneficial bacteria Ive been adding in they just havent gone down and have been at a dangerous level. My nitrites were reduced overnight just by adding these to my filter cartridge. I dont think they were even advertised as nitrite reducers but they certainly have done the trick when nothing else has. This is such an affordable replacement for the carbon filters I have been using and they offer sicker and way more protection and can be customized according to size and preference. You can even add 2 layers of these for even more filtration. No more pricey rip off cartridge filters for me!

> 3 dayThe product quality and delivery was excellent. I installed the filter material in my pond and its working great. A great vendor worth 5 stars in my book!

> 3 dayYou just cant buy that many filter cartridges to equal the same amount of filters for the money. Even though you can rinse and reuse this filter material. I find the quality degrades rather quickly. So its best to discard old filter and replace with new. Even this way it does not effect the value in the long-run. Another great thing about this filter material is just how versatile it is. Simply cut to the size you need. However I will say you are going to need rather heavy duty fabric scissors that are sharp. Or a utility knife will work.

> 3 dayAs an avid user of POLY FILTER, it does get a little expensive (but worth it). Reading all the reviews I gave this product a try to supplement my filter pads. I must say I am very impressed. While it obviously isnt POLY it still does a fantastic job and for the price and amount you get is a fabulous bargain. My Aqueon 75 HOB filter takes 2 filter pads so I have begun using a POLY filter in one holster and this element in the other. I honestly see no difference in my water clarity so I will continue using both to hopefully save a bit of $$. I love POLY FILTER and will continue to use it but the quality and price of this padding gives similar results , but its definitely not going to remove some of the impurities that POLY will. Plus one roll should last years(s).

Greater than one weekThis media is the best I have found to filter out the small and larger particles of my small 300 gal outdoor pond

> 3 dayAlthough package arrived with a knife slice clear across the bag, with dirt in that portion of the padding, I just cut that section out & dont use it. As for quality, yeah - these are better than Fluval Quik Clear & slightly thinner, allowing me to use 2 of them at the top of each of my Fluval Edge filters to be sure all the small particles are grabbed. Definitely cheaper than Fluval too, so as long as seller doesnt get greedy & jack the cost Ill continue to buy these for a long time. I go through this type of filter fast with 3 large frogs.
