> 3 dayI use this filter multiple times for my two separate beta fish tanks. I love that I can cut to size and I also have cut some to place in my pool pump to collect the smaller fine debris. Works great!

> 3 dayI have purchased this product several times for a couple of larger aquariums in wet/dry filters. Overall it is a good product and does a good job of filtering the water. I put the filter floss on a sheet of eggcrate and use a jet fitting on a hose to clean it each week. Some batches of this material are more durable than others. I can usually get 4 or 5 cleanings before it loses its integrity. A couple times it only lasted maybe 3 times, others as much as 6 or 7 times. If they could improve the consistency of durability, it would be ideal.

> 3 dayYou will be able to cut cost of proprietary filters by cutting you own. These are very washable and reusable even under heavy loads like large goldfish or koi species. 8 tanks to take care of and a roll still will last me 2 months or more. A great value for the money and who does not want to cut costs these days.

> 3 dayI buy a roll a few times a year, cut it up in rectangles and use it along with other foam media in my hang on filters. It can also be used around an intake filter for odd ends. They go in white and come out brown. Because of the low price I usually throw out the rectangle and replace it instead of rinsing and reusing. It helps keep the other foam media from building up as well. Before I found this, I spent a lot more money buying other things that the pet store tells you to buy which don’t last as long.

> 3 dayThis pad works well for cleaning and polishing in the filter. Have a bit of a hard time when I try to cut it to fit my Seachem Tidal, but I get it close to size. Will buy again.

> 3 dayThis is a really great filter media. I use it in an above tank wet-dry filter for both mechanical and bio filtration. I only have to replace the top layer when it gets dirty, while the lower layers stay colonized with beneficial bacteria and free of debris. It has a good density and stiffness for a media. Filter floss that is too soft and fluffy becomes packed down as soon as water begins to flow through it, but this bonded media keeps it shape much better. This is especially important with a wet-dry filter where I want it to resist compressing, because the air space withing the media stack is needed to optimize oxygenation and elimination of ammonia. At the same time it is flexible enough to cut easily with ordinary scissors and bend to any shape needed. It also is perfect to disperse water flow through a filter so that channeling does not result in dead spaces in the media. One side of the media is slightly stiffer and more dense than the softer side. I have water flow into the soft side, and then the more dense side ensures that the flow spreads out and does not go straight through lower layers. Many DIYers suggest alternatives to traditional filter media such as plastic pot scrubbers or fluffy bath sponges. This is cheaper than those cost saving alternatives, it works much better, and it is easy to cut and fit for any shape needed. For my filters, I make a sandwich of generic ceramic rings between two layers of this poly material, which Ive found to be the best balance of effectiveness and affordability.

> 3 dayIve been using this product for about a year now and I love this stuff! Every time I clean my filter the filter pad is dense and heavy with muck. I love that it is two different Micron sizes split between the pad. It definitely helps you get the most out of it. It is very easy to cut to size. Without making a mess! the individual fibers stay bound to the pad and dont end up going through my tank which is wonderful. I managed to get about 8 - 10 filters out of this. So I end up buying this about two to three times a year which is a wonderful value for the money. But they last a while. This is definitely my one and only choice when it comes to filter pads. I congratulate the company and the manufacturer prayer making a Superior Products at a superior price! Both of you and your staffs do great work! Thank you for the wonderful quality control and the helpful videos you send with your product it shows that you care about our Hobby!
