> 3 dayI used to be firmly in the camp of any paste will do when it came to fitting CPUs or re-pasting GPUs etc, however, having suffered some alarming temperatures with my R9 280x GPU causing it to thermal throttle while running FURMARK stress test, I decided to take some action. I cleaned off the dust and added some generic cheap HY-521 paste I had lying about, while my temperatures dropped, I was still sitting around 50 degrees Celsius at idle which to me is still quite high. I decided to follow numerous recommendations and bought the MX-4 for a little over £5. Once arrived and pasted, my GPU is now sitting at idle around 38-40 degrees which is a big difference, my GPU no longer sounds like a Hercules transport aircraft at full military power while gaming. It now sounds more like a cruising Cessna...... I kind of miss the noise, but my wife doesnt.........

> 3 dayAntes de limpiarlo e instalarle la pasta térmica se escuchaba como si fuera un avión apunto de despegar. Ahora no se escucha nada. Los recomiendo ahora parece como si fuese nuevo.

> 3 dayWhat can I say, it does the job, i cannot tell if it is better than other thermal compounds like Noctua thermal paste, since I have never monitored my temperatures. Works well with my new corsair AIO cooler.

Greater than one weekKurz gesagt, lässt sich die Paste gut mit einer Kreditkarte o.ä. auftragen. Die Paste wird mit einer Wasserkühlung mit zwei Radiatoren genutzt und kühlt einen Ryzen 5 3600x auf einem AM4 Sockel unter Last (1 Stunde Prime95) auf 55°C maximal Temperatur.
