Greater than one weekTook apart my PlayStation 4 Pro to clean it out and put fresh thermal paste on the CPU. Before, it was just unbearably loud on Modern Warfare or graphics intensive games such as God of War. Now its totally silent. I dont have the ability to measure the CPU temperature, but judging from the output heat from the fan I would estimate its about 15-20°C cooler than before. All because of more efficient heat transfer.

> 3 dayTheres not too much to say about thermal paste so Ill keep this short. I got this for my Ryzen 3 3100 CPU because the original thermal paste was a bit off. The normal thermal paste gave me around 36 Celcius while idle and this thermal paste gave e 34 Celcius so there is an improvement. But is it worth $12? Another thing was it does come with a spreader which is really nice because if you new and unsure just spread it across the entire CPU but this can generate air bubbles which arent ideal. Another thing is its good for beginners because spilling some onto the motherboard wont kill it because it doesnt conduct electricity very well.
