> 24 hourEasy to spread and it works. For those who have not added a CPU to a motherboard, you only need a thin layer (just enough to cover the top of the chip). Dont squeeze the whole container onto the chip. The purpose of the paste is to transfer heat from the CPU to the heat sink. If you put too much on, when you secure the heat sink, the excess will squeeze out the sides and create a mess.
