> 3 dayI have only used Arctic Silver 5 since my Phenom X6 1100T. Next my 6700K. And finally my 1080 GTX Evga SC which I water cooled with a G12 kraken bracket and a kraken X42. Amazing performance. Believe it or not the spreader is the best part being able to apply it evenly on the die.

> 3 daysure, theres some other thermal pastes out there that have come out over the years with supposedly better thermal qualities - but if Im being honest - most of it is just hype - antec artic silver has never disappointed me - always better than factory paste - bought when i ran out after my mobo crapped out and i had to move the cpu and cooler from the old board to the new one - fills the gaps well in none- lathed coolers like the one in the photo - CPU Package Temps run cool between 45c-55c (at near idle working with basic office apps) and 55c-65c under 75% load (gaming or video rendering) with fans set to near-silent mode (custom profile running in a lancool2 og case w/ 3 intake 120s & 3 exhaust 120s barely spinning @ an avg room temp of 23-24c - enough to make me smile (cooler is amd prism rgb cooler for ryzen 7 3700 cpu on an asus am4 x570plus tuf mobo)
