> 3 dayI have used this product many times over the years and it has been great. You just need a pea size gold in the middle of the cpu before putting the cooler on.

> 3 dayI utilized the Arctic Silver 3.5g high density polysynthetic silver thermal cooling compound to repair a Caframo Ecofan wood stove fan the was working intermittently. I disassembled the fan heat sink by removing two screws. I removed the thermoelectric generator module making note of which side faced down on the lower portion of the heat sink. I placed three thin lines of this thermal compound on the thermoelectric generator module and spread it evenly from edge to edge using the supplied tool. I flipped the module over and repeated the process. I re-installed the thermoelectric generator module making sure it was centered with the correct side facing down and tightened the screws securely. I placed the fan on our stove and once the stove was hot the fan started spinning like new. We use the stove daily. It has been two weeks and the fan is still running like new.

Greater than one weekGetting a 38% overclock on an I9-9900K Intel CPU with an integrated Corsair water cooler. Arctic Silver is what is helping with the thermal transfer and the OC software gives the cooler a 160% rating.
