07-06-2025I utilized the Arctic Silver 3.5g high density polysynthetic silver thermal cooling compound to repair a Caframo Ecofan wood stove fan the was working intermittently. I disassembled the fan heat sink by removing two screws. I removed the thermoelectric generator module making note of which side faced down on the lower portion of the heat sink. I placed three thin lines of this thermal compound on the thermoelectric generator module and spread it evenly from edge to edge using the supplied tool. I flipped the module over and repeated the process. I re-installed the thermoelectric generator module making sure it was centered with the correct side facing down and tightened the screws securely. I placed the fan on our stove and once the stove was hot the fan started spinning like new. We use the stove daily. It has been two weeks and the fan is still running like new.

> 3 daysure, theres some other thermal pastes out there that have come out over the years with supposedly better thermal qualities - but if Im being honest - most of it is just hype - antec artic silver has never disappointed me - always better than factory paste - bought when i ran out after my mobo crapped out and i had to move the cpu and cooler from the old board to the new one - fills the gaps well in none- lathed coolers like the one in the photo - CPU Package Temps run cool between 45c-55c (at near idle working with basic office apps) and 55c-65c under 75% load (gaming or video rendering) with fans set to near-silent mode (custom profile running in a lancool2 og case w/ 3 intake 120s & 3 exhaust 120s barely spinning @ an avg room temp of 23-24c - enough to make me smile (cooler is amd prism rgb cooler for ryzen 7 3700 cpu on an asus am4 x570plus tuf mobo)

> 3 dayI used this for my PS4 Pro that was constantly running hot and causing the fan to sound like a jet engine. Once I replaced the OEM thermal paste with this one, the system runs much cooler and the fan never even makes noticeable noise now. I’ve been using it for a few months and no problems at all... in fact it solved the problem I was having perfectly.

> 3 dayBeen using since build one long, long ago. Never use either the stuff they ship with a cooler or the stuff that comes on the base. Easy to use. Does what it shood. Never had a failure in any of my, oh say maybe 50 builds. If you are a builder and want to make sure your build lasts, get it. Nuff said.

> 3 dayI liked that it arrived quickly. The item was shipped in a small bag and included a plastic spreader. The Arctic Silver was easy to push out using the plunger. Easy no mess application. Transfers heat really well helping my system keep cool.
