Sadly, I had a terrible allergic reaction to this product. I sprinkled it over our rugs thinking its baking soda based, it should be fine. But it caused such a terrible reaction in my nasal passageway that I was both struck with chronic sinus congestion and was nauseated throughout the day. Finally by the time we realized this product was causing my allergic reaction, I had to move out of my house and stay with friends until we could get the rugs sent out to be cleaned and rid of the powder and scent. We even had to have our air ducts cleaned to get the smell out of the house. Ive never had any allergies in my life, but the synthetic fragrances used created a traumatic result. Very few people have poor reaction to this, so I had trusted the reviews. After my own catastrophe, I scanned more carefully and found several others who had bad allergic reaction and one other woman posted, I can no longer live in my house! It might be ok for you. I was the only person in the family who had this reaction, but it truly was devastating for me. So, beware. Use sparingly.

I don’t understand the positive reviews. I cleaned my 8 x 10 rug with a carpet shampooer and let it dry completely. After a few days I sprinkled on this powder and vacuumed it thoroughly. And all I can smell is a heavy, unpleasant perfume scent and still a hint of dog urine odor. I’m thoroughly annoyed.

This definitely cut down on odor, but Im not a fan of the scent at all. Ive got all my windows open and fans running on high trying to get it to dissipate as quickly as possible. Its still pretty strong even after 4 hours.

I love this stuff. I have not been able to find it in stores so this 3 pack was a good deal!

Boxes were “leaking” when they arrived, maybe cardboard isn’t the best to ships this type of product in but the smell is fantastic and it really does brighten up the house.

I have repurchased this product over and over. It is great for refreshing our carpets due to our pets. It is easy to vacuum up. The scent last a long time after cleaning.

I find the smell to be chemical and overwhelming.
