To be very honest.. it smells like old lady house So it’s not the “fresh smell” I was looking for.

It helped remove some odor. Not perfect, but not worthless either. Probably would benefit from multiple doses. However, I wanted to share my experience about the hotly-debated scent. Some people say it smells for hours, other say it smells for days. I can assure you that the scent lingers in the ambient air only for hours, and not in the ambient air for days (unless you get down on all fours and sniff the carpet from half an inch away, in which case yeah you probably could smell it for days). So, dont be afraid: buy a multi-pack and take a few passes at riding odor from the carpet. If you vacuum it up as instructed, you wont smell any scent the next day.

We have 5 cats and a ton of rugs, plus we dont care for scented candles or room sprays. This stuff works wonders for keeping rugs and carpets clean and fresh smelling. Sprinkle just a little over the carpet or rug--dont use a lot, because it has a pretty lasting aroma--wait half an hour, then vacuum it up. Super easy. Its a very clean scent, but if you pile this stuff on the carpet heavily, it WILL smell up your house for about 24 hours even with the windows open. You just need a tiny sprinkle, and your house will smell nice and fresh and clean. Like with most things, a dab will do ya.

Highly scented, carpet definitely smells fresher and the scent stayed after vacuuming. My only complaint is that each box is only about 2/3 or 3/4 full - I expected the box to be fulled to the top and it wasnt, so packaging is a bit deceiving….

I have a small puppy that is still potty training, we try to clean the carpet as best as we can when she has accidents but sometimes you can smell it faintly after cleaning - this truly eliminates any and all odors!! The scent is really nice & fresh. I used it in my room & in the hallway where we have carpet because there is plenty in a box. Highly recommend!

I cannot speak highly enough of this product. I do yoga on my carpet instead of a mat which I know, #1 mistake right there. Well it obviously got very stinky from me rolling around half-naked and sweaty all over it every day. It was strong enough that the smell would emit even outside of the room. I tried literally everything to get rid of the B.O. smell. Carpet shampoos, detergent, regular baking powder, scented carpet powder, essential oils, Febreze, perfume, pinesol, rubbing dryer sheets and deodorant on it, leaving the window open all day - literally EVERYTHING. Then I even paid to have it cleaned/steamed with no results whatsoever; actually I think it made it worse by getting it wet! So THEN I gave up and replaced it with an expensive odor-shield carpet. Well seeing as how Im clearly a glutton for punishment and learned nothing at all, I got it right back stinky in about 5 months. So this time, I was extremely upset that Id just paid for and replaced the carpet just for it to happen almost immediately again. At this point, I had decided to just rip the carpet out and lay down hardwood. Which is obviously not a cheap renovation. I was dreading paying that and having to do all the research for the wood, scheduling appointments, etc. SO I tried one very last thing. This stuff. Not expecting it would work when nothing else had. I covered the carpet with it, let it sit overnight and vacuumed up the next morning.... THE SMELL WAS COMPLETELY GONE!!!!!!!!!!! Not masked, GONE. I mean I shoved my nose into it and scooted around like dog to try to find one smell of stink left and not a thing. The smell it did leave behind (Oxi Clean) is just wonderful! Smells just like fresh laundry. To top that off, it made the carpet FEEL like fresh laundry... soft and plush. I wanted to wait to leave this review also until I knew the results would last. Well it has been a week and a half and the B.O. smell is still completely banished even with me continuing to exercise and sweat on it. It may need some additional sprinkle and maintenance in the future, but that is absolutely fine by me. So to sum up my TMI, rambling story: This product saved me thousands of dollars, it does EXACTLY what is says it will, it is the ONLY thing I found that worked and I could not be any happier. Please never discontinue this item!!!!

My rug space rug in my room gets very dirty and smelly easily with a puggle puppy running, peeing on it constantly. After I apply this powder on my carpet, wait 15 min, and vacuum, it takes away and bad smell and replaces it with a good floral fragrance! And it’s strong so it stays with the carpet even after vacuuming! Pet people that have smelly houses from them, this is definitely worth the money for the quality!

Hard to tell if it is effective since the added scent is so strong, but after a week with the windows open and it dissipates enough sleep in the room comfortably.

To be honest I probably could of gotten my moneys worth by going to Walmart and buying 2 big ones. I thought the size of these would have been bigger. However, there was no issue with the shipping none of the powder was spilling out when I opened it. Smells good but Im not sure if I would buy them 3 in a pack again only because they are smaller than I thought they are (3) medium sized powder boxes.

Works great, smell is strong but gets better.
