Im not sure how I managed to accumulate almost 10 hours of student flying before getting one of these. if youre a student, do yourself a favor and get this (or any) kneeboard right off the bat. Its a small, sturdy, glorified clipboard with a leg strap. Makes taking notes and writing down ATC instructions painless.

Still working towards my ticket, initially didnt want to get this because no student in my school uses them, and was self conscious that Id look silly. To heck with it, got tired of fumbling around for that dropped checklist, and trying to remember atis info and instructions from my CFi. Got this, and am happy I did, making my life much easier, jotting notes down, and staying organized allowing me to focus on the flying.
