> 24 hourI bought this to replace my eastwood low-cfm usage spray gun, figuring it was a middle ground between the HF guns and the big money ones. My main concern with the EW gun was the sub-par fan height. This one puts out a nice full 8-10 tall fan when 8 away from the piece (compared to the eastwood that is more like a 5 fan) and you dont need to move at a crawling pace to get the material down. I use this with a 60 gallon compressor, with a regulator on the output set to 80psi, and I have the small 3m regulator available on amazon mounted to the gun set to around 22psi. The guns instructions say go 29psi but it feels way too high of pressure at 29psi. I also immediately upgraded the cup to the 1000mL titan aluminum cup off amazon (you need to extra import gun adapter too). With all those pieces, you get a very nice spray gun. I have so far used it to spray 2k urethane primer and single stage enamel. I am yet to find out if this 1.5mm tip will be good with clear coat.

> 24 hourAt first I had my doubts, bc I was using the cheapest clearcoat I could find with my 30 yr old hvlp devilbiss flg gun. It would not lay down smooth even with a 1.4 tip and thinned 20%. So then I got this, and used the same paint with slow reducer and slow activator. This thing lays out clearcoat like glass! I think bc its high efficiency is why I can spray as low as 15psi...thats not a typo, 15 psi and it atomizes as good as it does at 27psi. It even atomizes ok as low as 10psi! The only difference is way less overspray at the lower pressures. The spray pattern is super wide as well. (with higher pressure). The atomization of this gun is simply incredible! And it is so easy to clean. What I do is disconnect the air then open up the trigger and spray some carb cleaner through the gun until it begins running out clear. then I take it apart and do the final cleaning. I also have diaphragm type regulator, the cheapies dont cut it for me. I used to hate painting, now I love it! :-)

> 24 hourWe love this gun. It holds up well and sprays very good. We are spraying a two part UV coating, so I am sure it could handle lighter duty jobs with ease. Highly recommend this gun.

> 24 hourGreat gun, I have the 1.7mm for primer and this thing is a superior spray gun. I had a cheap starting line gun and that thing was a joke. I run a small compressor 21 gallon and have done this whole truck bed with no issues. Great gun just buy it.

> 24 hourBought this to replace the Porter Cable one I bought years ago I lost in a move. Never really worked as well. Gave it a shot with several different laquers but it never sprayed heavy enough even with the needle wide opeb
