> 3 dayThis tire inflator is really good for keeping in the trunk of your car, or in your garage to inflate items in case of an emergency, or larger items, such as pool, toys, or other items that need to be filled with air. We also use this to inflate the tires on our bikes. Comes with various attachments for inflating, sports, equipment, like balls, or the more blunt tip for inflating, pool, inflatable’s, or floating rafts.

Greater than one weekThis is pretty convenient since my car’s 12 volt plug doesn’t work. I can just pop the battery on this and use it. The battery life is good and only dropped one bar after airing four car tires. It auto fills to a certain psi which is also pretty convenient. My husband said it’s pretty accurate, just off a little bit. It’s pretty bulky but it’s designed to look like a power tool so it’s whatever. There is an area on the side that has what might be to hold the tips or something, I’m not sure. But they’re little plastic rectangular shapes and really sharp. I actually cut my finger the first time I held this. We just sanded the corners, but what’s the deal there? Otherwise, I like this. One star off for the assault.

> 3 dayI do a fair amount of driving. It always concerns me that I am going to have to replace a tire on the side of the road due to an errant nail, and because I cant safely drive to the nearest station. So when I ran across the AstroAI cordless Tire Inflator, I knew I had to have it. This nifty device has a Li-ion battery that holds a charge for considerable time, to be ready when and if you experience an unfortunate event on the road! Admittedly, I used this only briefly so far to test it out. I have to wait for a REAL flat tire in order to put it to a REAL test! However, for the purpose of testing and preparedness, I did go ahead and deflate my car tire a few PSI, then used this device to refill it. The battery held great! Here is the best part. Lets say you forget to charge the battery. That is OK - if you have this product, you can simply connect it to the car lighter port and it works flawlessly. I only have one small thing that would improve this product to perfection. It should come with a bag. There is a tire inflator, a rechargeable battery, and a few connectors. When I put this in my trunk, it would be nice for it to stay all in one bag. Inevitably I will be searching for that battery (or connector) when I need it. I could also supply my own bag... yes. There is that. This is a great device for giving you peace of mind on the road. I highly recommend it. *** OH SO! *** Peace of mind for the road Multiple ways to inflate a flat tire *** SO-SO *** Should have a bag for the trunk

> 3 dayThe main features I wanted this tire inflator for are: portability, dual power source and large battery capacity. Great to read the current pressure and have the inflator control the target value for pressure, no more swapping of the connector for a pressure gauge. And it looks accurate, by comparison with the stand-alone gauge readings. Also great to have a light when trying to fit the connector to the tire’s valve stem. The manual is well written, the only thing it doesn’t mention is the auto-shutoff: yes, the tool does shutoff in a minute or so of no use. The manufacturer’s website has the pdf version of the manual for download. For the drawbacks: - noisy. Not as noisy as other inflators I’ve used, though I’ve seen far better ones in this respect; - disappointed that the instructions state not to use in humid conditions: well, flat tires still happen even in wet weather; - no case – big dent in portability, I don’t want this tossed around in the trunk. The version on the manufacturer’s website DOES come with a case: “Storage bag: easy to store items Storage bag: 11.22*2.8*9.13 inch” – boohoo! - proprietary battery (of course) - the battery charging should take one hour per the manufacturer’s website product page, but that was not my experience: charging is real slow, almost two hours to get it to green from above minimum charge. And the on-battery indicator is an “all or nothing” on charging, red or green, cannot tell where the charging is at without taking the battery off the charger and putting it into the tool, so the tool display shows the battery charge value. The tool comes with a 2 years warranty and the manufacturer provides contact info, email and a phone number and a website.

> 3 dayReally like this tire inflator. I have a big expensive compressor I keep in my RV, but it has to be connected to the battery of the RV which is great if I have to top off all the tires. If I just want to top of a tire or two, this small tire inflator is perfect. Much quicker as it has a battery, or you can use the cigarette lighter adapter. There are 4 modes and the PSI is saved, so I have one set for the RV, one for my car, one for my motorcycle and one for my bicycles. I quickly filled one RV tire from 66psi to 80psi and the inflator didnt feel very hot. Very happy with it.

> 3 dayI have a couple normal compressors, but theyre both a hassle to get out when I just need to air up the tires a few PSI. I got the AstroAI Air Compressor with the intention of it solving for that use case. I thought the form factor would be a REALLY nice feature, considering that the compressor can stand upright on its own. The reality, though, is that the usefulness is limited by the really short inflator hose. Even with 245/40-19s its easy for the valve step to be up and out of reach. Ive had to put the AstroAI on an overturned bucket on more than one occasion. While its awesome to not have a 12V cord strung back to an Aux power jack in your car, its good to have reasonable expectations of what you can do with that battery. I ran it down by 3/4 by filling 4 tires from ~35 PSI to 42 PSI. You set inflation pressure on the device, and it shuts off when it reaches the setting. Thats a nice feature because you dont have to keep checking the pressure. Its also good from the standpoint that the inflator is tragically slow. Filling larger tires, or from lower pressures (or both) could be a real problem for this unit. Its worth noting that you probably dont want to run this thing for long periods of time, either, as the compressor just isnt built for that. Speaking of batteries, this battery pack appears to be completely proprietary. While its possible that this will last for years and years, you will still have to (eventually) deal with the battery dying and not holding a charge. Fortunately, it looks like its made of normal 14500 cells, so you can rebuild the thing yourself (if you have 30 minutes, and a good attitude). For seasonal tire top-offs, bike tires, and pool toys, this is a decent occasional use inflator. Conditionally Recommended

> 3 dayThis portable tire inflator is very powerful. It comes with two ways to use it, by plugging into your vehicle or charge the battery. This way you never have to worry about not being able to use it. You put in the amount of air you want and it wont stop until it reaches that amount. So much easier than adding air, then checking the pressure over and over. This is a must have for anyone. It also has attachments to fit different things that need air.

Greater than one weekPerfect for keeping under the car seat. It isnt too large. Had a battery pack or cigarette lighter adaptor. Every few months I need to top off my air pressure to keep my tps system from giving me an error. I usually keep apt 36psi in my tires and when I started inflating they only had 33psi it only took about 10seconds on each tire to get to 36psi. The built in air gauge to set how much was great.

> 3 daySo my old air compressor I used to carry around was not digital, was much bigger, and kind of annoying to lug around. This, by comparison, is smaller, digital, and fairly easy to use. The fact that it comes with both a battery and an auxiliary socket power adapter is a nice bonus incase the portable battery happens to be dead. Running on battery power, I can just easily walk to each wheel without being tethered by a lengthy power cord to the inside of a car that has to be on. I used it to check my tire pressure and as it turns out, the dealer (who recently did a TPMS sensor recall on my car) had overinflated my tires. Not having to have a separate tire pressure gauge and compressor is also a nice plus (the pressure sensor in my old compressor was very inaccurate) and the quick connect/release is a blessing. Overall, I really like the design and function of this and give it high marks. It has earned a spot as the permanent replacement for my old compressor.
