I got this tire inflator to replace a previous one I had that never worked, which itself had replaced one that died after a couple of uses. This one looks more promising. It is working well so far, and it has a much more capable battery. Once charged, it was able to put 3-5 lbs of air in each of my four tires to bring them up to where they should be. It seemed to have plenty of charge left, but I had no way of testing to be sure. But the fact that it was able to do this was enough for me. If it should run out of juice, you can connect it directly to the 12v cigarette lighter in your car to power it. It includes a USB cord for recharging. You can plug it into any USB charger, but be aware that if you use a charger designed for a cell phone, it will take a long time to charge. I recommend something more powerful, such as an iPad charger. I only gave it 4 stars because it has not built-in storage for the accessories, nor does it even include a carry bag to store them. So they will be lost in no time, and Im sure I am not the only one who feels that way.

This falls under the category of automotive tools that its better to have and not need, then to need and not have. Because at some point, youre going to end up running low on air after running over something unexpectedly. And without fail, the nearest gas station is probably going to have something wrong with its air compressor. The last time we left this at home, it took three stops at gas stations before we found one that actually had a working air pump (one of them was completely missing the hose). So this is a real life-saver if you have it in your vehicle. Works quickly, and is effective at helping to you to gauge the exact PSI of your tire as youre inflating it.

This cordless pump has been a game changer since switching over from my manual pump. I’ve used this to pump my bike tires and scooter tires, and the pressure gauge seems to be pretty accurate. The best part of that I can set a PSI target and when my tire hits it, the pump automatically stops.

This tire inflator is really good for keeping in the trunk of your car, or in your garage to inflate items in case of an emergency, or larger items, such as pool, toys, or other items that need to be filled with air. We also use this to inflate the tires on our bikes. Comes with various attachments for inflating, sports, equipment, like balls, or the more blunt tip for inflating, pool, inflatable’s, or floating rafts.

This air compressor is great. Just tell it what you want you tire pressure to be and it pumps it to that and shuts off. Comes with a rechargeable battery and also a hook up to run it straight from your vehicle. The only knock I have on this item and the reason it is not getting a 5 star review is I wish it came with a carry bag or case and not just the box it came it.

I have a couple normal compressors, but theyre both a hassle to get out when I just need to air up the tires a few PSI. I got the AstroAI Air Compressor with the intention of it solving for that use case. I thought the form factor would be a REALLY nice feature, considering that the compressor can stand upright on its own. The reality, though, is that the usefulness is limited by the really short inflator hose. Even with 245/40-19s its easy for the valve step to be up and out of reach. Ive had to put the AstroAI on an overturned bucket on more than one occasion. While its awesome to not have a 12V cord strung back to an Aux power jack in your car, its good to have reasonable expectations of what you can do with that battery. I ran it down by 3/4 by filling 4 tires from ~35 PSI to 42 PSI. You set inflation pressure on the device, and it shuts off when it reaches the setting. Thats a nice feature because you dont have to keep checking the pressure. Its also good from the standpoint that the inflator is tragically slow. Filling larger tires, or from lower pressures (or both) could be a real problem for this unit. Its worth noting that you probably dont want to run this thing for long periods of time, either, as the compressor just isnt built for that. Speaking of batteries, this battery pack appears to be completely proprietary. While its possible that this will last for years and years, you will still have to (eventually) deal with the battery dying and not holding a charge. Fortunately, it looks like its made of normal 14500 cells, so you can rebuild the thing yourself (if you have 30 minutes, and a good attitude). For seasonal tire top-offs, bike tires, and pool toys, this is a decent occasional use inflator. Conditionally Recommended

This unit is very large. I didn’t expect it to be as big as I thought, it’s as big as a handheld drill. It is rechargeable, and it comes with a battery pack. It’s powerful though, and does the job.

I like this product. It’s very handy and convenient to have around in case you get a flat tire of need to fill something with air. I do wish it came with a carrying case/box to keep it all neat & organized (even just a simple one). But overall i’m happy with it.
