> 3 dayIf you bought this with 16GB RAM, 4GB is already set for Vega3 graphics in BIOS which you can adjust to your liking. Also, your SSD comes pre-formatted with a recovery partition that stores an OEM copy of Windows10 and the recovery tools, which is usually about 10GB, plus Windows terrible NTFS formatting loss = usable space of 237.5GB< out of a 256GB SSD about.

> 3 dayI purchased it with 17gb of RAM but it came with 20gb. Was supposed to be a 256gb SSD but it came with a 1000gb SSD. Bonus. Paid the expedited shipping, $65, but it took almost a week so the fee was waived! Sweet. It is a lot heavier than I thought so I assume the case is much stronger than my five year old ASUS laptop.

> 3 dayI really liked this laptop, until the screen went totally black 15 days after purchase. It will still work with an external monitor. After 2 calls to customer service, and many hours searching the ASUS website for help, I will either return this or ship it off to be repaired. I finally had it all set up and running well. Now Im removing documents and deleting things so I can return it or send it off for repair. ASUS customer service is not much help. I am so disappointed.

> 3 dayUPDATE: if you want a laptop that dies after 2 years, this is fine. I expected 5 to 8 years, so I have downgraded ASUS from 5 stars to 2. Shortly after I got it the M fell off the keypad and keys cannot be replaced even after ordering new ones. A few months later, the 2 key fell off, but I did not complain b/c it otherwise seemed robust. Typing was only minimally hindered by having to hit the white key bases where M and 2 used to be. TODAY it is officially dead, or at least many keys are now completely unresponsive and I cannot even login. I do have an external keyboard attached now (b/c of an able assistant), but my expensive ASUS is now a defacto brick: carrying an external keyboard around is a totally-sux solution. I am not likely to ever buy another ASUS.

> 3 dayBad something -- probably GPU. Techs said it couldnt be fixed. ASUS refused to honor the warranty and gave me FOUR different, conflicting reasons why they wouldnt.

> 3 dayOverall satisfied, had this as a replacement for an old Dell Latitude, which, compared to this, was a battle tank. It came with more RAM than advertised, 20Gb actually, which is a huge plus. I use it for Kubuntu Linux and for the first time Ive had issued running a distro after install -- had to revert to a previous kernel to make it boot. With the right kernel, it works like a charm. The screen is OK at night or with low lights, but during the day I find myself adjusting its tilt to make it more visible. The keys feel a bit loose, but theyre comfortable enough. The trackpad is huge although Im more of a mouse person. Overall, this is a nice machine for the price. Good price-value ratio. Im treating it right to make it last. I still havent tried its graphics, but will soon. Will possible update this review. An SSD upgrade is also in the plans.
