> 24 hourIt does not stand up well enough on its own to make it easy to load and unload. You have to hold it up/open to do anything. Once youve got some stuff inside it then makes it annoying to put the boots in and out. Since the bag doesnt really hold its own structure, more contents make it distort and then pockets and zipper become misshapen and harder to use. I went with a Kulkea which costs more but is a lot nicer, tougher, sturdier, and easier to use.

> 24 hourHands down these are the best check your boots bags. They are great because: -you can pack clothing in the side pockets and on top to protect your boots and helmet. Not only are they very well protected but you can pack an amazing amount of stuff in here -there are straps you can use like a back pack but a pocket to put them in when checking so they dont get caught -handle on the top where you need it -very sturdy I have used these to travel internationally etc. I stupidly bought one of the cooler boot bags that look more like a backpack for my kidsand while maybe if I someday am mountain climbing with my boots and skis they might be better for checking your boots not so much--less room and no way to pad your helmet. So now I had to go back and buy more of the athalon bags seriously--the best

> 24 hourI gave this to my sweetheart, who is a ski instructor, and he is SO happy with it! Its easy to get your boots in the side compartments and there is loads of room in the center section for taking extra layers of clothing for changes in weather or for when you need another set of clothes to change into after work - coat included! The whole center top zips open, so it is easy to pack too. The handles on the top and front are sturdy and a good size that you can grab easily with gloves on. The back pack straps are padded and easy to slip on when you are alone. This bag also sits upright when empty, which makes it easier to load the middle without boots than some other bags.

> 24 hourOrdered this for my daughter (age 10) and a different bag for my wife. This bag is far superior to the other. Fabric and zippers are both heavy-duty and look as if they will last a very long time and take a lot of abuse. Immediately returned the other boot bag and ordered a second one of these for my wife. This will be a bit large for the 10 year old but shell grow into it. Only critical comment: The colors are darker than they appear on my screen. I was expecting almost a baby-blue color, but its more of a steel blue. The gray is also darker. Much more practical colors for a ski boot bag, but if you are expecting a pale powder blue you may be disappointed.

> 24 hourWe love Athalon products, and have used their duffels for years. Accordingly, we were excited to find out they made a Boot Bag. The quality of the bag is great, but we hope for 2 improvements. First, add more pockets - particularly a laptop sleeve. If Im going to carry on the boot bag then I need to eliminate the backpack I would normally carry. Second, provide a blue color that matches the blue duffel I already own.

> 24 hourLove this bag. Shouldve gotten years sooner. I planned to take aboard aircraft as carry-on (it WILL fit in most U.S. airline overheads, though you may need to lay on side), but ended up checking instead (Im an airline pilot so its free either way) due to convenience. This bag is really all you need for a solo weekend skiing trip, though itll easily fit one pair of boots, two helmets, two goggles, two pairs of gloves, two sets of skiing accessories...if youre traveling with spouse/buddy. Yes, you could fit two pairs of boots, though you wouldnt have room for helmets, etc. Wonderful bag.

> 24 hourI got this for my 9-year-old daughters ski things. It holds her boots, helmet, goggles, hats, gloves, etc. and her ski clothes - snow pants and jacket, and there is still room for more. It is a bit big for her, but she can still carry it pretty comfortably. When emptied, it fits in the larger-sized lockers at the ski hills. It is a nice, durable bag.

> 24 hourHolds a pair of ski boots, helmet, plus lots more gear! Very well made, with numerous, zip closure areas to hold your ski stuff.. Easy to carry (can be used as back pack but thats not my style). I have the matching ski bag - this blue print is so pretty! Highly recommend the Athalon ski bags!

> 24 hourMy boyfriend bought this bag for me and I absolutely LOVE it. As others have mentioned you can put so MUCH in it! I love that you can wear it as a backpack freeing you hands up to carry your ski bag and suitcase. I have used it several times now and only have one recommendation to make. To preserve the bag I put my ski boots inside a heavy duty plastic bag and then place inside the boot bag. This also comes in handy if you are leaving the slopes and your boots are wet you probably dont want to put wet boots in the boot bag. I just ordered one for my son-in-law for his birthday (he just bought his first pair of skis and boots). I hope he enjoys it as much as I have. I would imagine that there are other uses for the bag other than a boot bag. I can see using this for trips in the summer; the compartments are great for segregating your stuff so you can find things more readily.
