Got this to replace my basic light bulb test light that Ive been using for years. This test light is much better to than a basic test light. You can connect the alligator clip to either positive or negative ground to use. Measures 3-60 Volts d.c. Red indicator light for positive and green for ground. Clever designed needle protector cover bulit into the cord . Comes with some basic instructions. Great for testing all sorts of electrical circuits in cars. Highly recommend this test light.

This is a very good product for any auto mechanic or at home DIYer auto or electrician. When connected to a ground source, it indicates when you probe a positive power source and gives you the voltage read out or when connected to a positive source, you have the opportunity to probe negative ground wires and has led lights that light up accordingly. Arrived nicely packaged. This is a great tool to have. You can safely test all of your cars electrical components with this tool. Comes with a nice size cord and so far this tester has worked flawlessly. Great product.

Finally a tester that has a volt meter built in that is not bulky . The quality is really nice. the coiled cable is firm but not too tight. the cap for the pointed probe is a nice storage idea and the meter is accurate. This is now my go to electric tester for all automotive and power equipment testing. I only wish the voltage range went down to be able to test 1.5 volt alkaline batteries.

Easy to read in high light

Little gadget that works perfect.Used it to find blown or weak fuses and it was such an easy and straightforward proces.Love it.Wish the cord was longer but other than that it’s really good.Must have!

This is a great little voltage/continuity probe. Its great to have a probe that not only confirms voltage and polarity, but gives a voltage reading at the same time. The probe circuitry runs off the applied voltage of the circuit under test, so you never have to worry about an internal battery. The body of the probe is solid. The digital readout is clear. The polarity LEDs are nice and bright. The probe tip is sharp and long enough that you can get into those tight spots for a reading. The probe is fitted with a nice strain relief for the cord. The cord is nice and flexible and will extend to about 3 ft reasonably well, without pulling on your ground connection too harshly. Attached to the cord is a nice siliconized rubber cap/sheath to protect the probe tip when not in use. The ground clamp is of a good size...the jaws open up plenty wide enough and the spring provides good clamping force.

Wish I had it sooner! This was surprisingly useful. Connects to either ground or positive circuit posts and indicates which you are testing, along with voltage present. Look forward to using it for tracing trailer wiring circuits.
