Aurifil A1050-2024 Mako Cotton Thread Solid 50WT 1422Yds White

Love this thread and how smooth it feels and how it sews through fabric like butter.

I have bought this brand of thread for about 5 plus years now. My latest purchase of it summer of 2022 is breaking way too easily. In past this breakage was not an issue but this purchase of three different colors for my sewing has been incredibly frustrating as I have to deal with breakage far too often. Old thread I purchased years ago at the yardage stores works just fine with NO breakage in the same machine on same project. It has to be the new thread. I appreciate the larger amount on a spool of this brand but the frequent breakage of thread makes it not worth using.

It is very fine and it seems to break easily. But no lint unlike others.

Who knew!?! This thread is AMAZING! It arrived today and I couldnt wait to try it after so much hype from fellow EPP hand quilters. Not only does it glide through layers of fabric like butter without knotting or fraying, but it actually eases stress on my severely arthritic fingers and joints. So grateful for the recommendation. You will not be disappointed. Now back to my Sue Dailey size 15, this beautiful thread, and thousands of little hexies.

Good quality thread. It is a little thinner than what I usually use, but it seems as strong or stronger. I am pleased with my purchase.

The thread is very thin and breaks very easy

This thread is so thin it breaks when you try to use it with a machine and knots when you try to hand sew with it. It also does not feel or stretch like cotton.
