One of the things I love most about this USB driver is its practical design– it is built tough with a hard plastic exterior that protects the internal hardware by providing a durable shell that doesn’t scratch or dent, unlike its metal counterparts. The plastic design is also great for preventing overheating when in use and when left in the sun or in inclement conditions. Not only that but has a built-in spot for you to attach a keychain to it or a small string to carry it on a ring. I find myself losing these so often and want a way to keep track of them and this carrying design is perfect. Now for the actual storage capabilities; truly, I mostly use these to store old photos and videos. Being in the film industry, I have a TON of data that needs to be stored safely and reliably on other devices like this. I am getting overwhelmed with larger hard drives and this smaller USB is great for storing photos with less editing– in other words, my personal albums! This has given me an extra 250 GB of portable storage containment that I can bring with me anywhere or store for safekeeping. This is also a really fantastic USB because it comes with intuitive instructions and easy-to-follow steps for setup. Although it works like most other USBs, I sent one of these to my mom who is notoriously bad at using technology and she utilized the directions to ensure the proper setup. Additionally, there are plenty of helpful YouTube videos that will walk you through the setup for your particular device. Me, I’ve used this on a MacBook Pro and an IPad and both work seamlessly. Overall, this is a fantastic USB with a TON of extra storage for your photos and videos. This has been a life saver in providing me with peace of mind that my data and photos are safe here, while also knowing I won’t lose this because it can be attached to my keys!

For sure this is one of the fastest USB drives Ive ever used. Its not quite to the stated speed of 600MBs read but it did write faster than the stated 500MBs speed at around 560MBs as you can see in the screenshot I attached to this review. You could actually edit 1080p video directly off this drive. In reality if you are using a lower bitrate 4k video you might be able to edit 4k right off the drive. I hope this becomes the standard for USB drives now. Its amazing how fast this one is!

This is a high capacity USB flash drive. The drive is USB 3.2, but it is also backwards compatible with older USB A ports. To get the fastest speeds, however, you should use it in a USB 3.2 port. The drive is 2.25” long and has a loop on the end for a tether (good idea!). I find this drive perfect for storing and viewing movies during trips. The drive holds over 50 movies. Playback from the drive is superb with no skips or breaks. Recording to the drive is also very fast. The drive would also be excellent for making backups or any kind of general file transfers. Overall, this is a great choice for saving a lot of data onto a small device.

USBメモリ型のSSDです。 SSDながら、言うまでもなく非常にコンパクト&超軽量。発熱もほとんど感じられず、速度も爆速と言うこと無し。 250GBモデルと同じく、あとは耐久性さえ問題が無ければ、モノとしては最高です。 500GBモデルですが、Windows11のシステムでは465GBと認識されました。 CrystalDiskMarkでは466GBとなっています。 参考値ですが、測定の結果、USB3.0ではReadが395.60MB/s、Writeが307.78MB/s。 USB3.1ではReadが412.43MB/s、Writeが322.68MB/sとなりました。 いずれも250GBモデルとほぼ同じ数値です。 ※ただしGenは不明。 最大読出速度600MB/s、最大書込速度500MB/s(USB3.2 Gen2の場合)と謳われているので、それと比べるとRead、Writeともに70%弱という結果となりました。 Writeが120%超となった250GBモデルと比べると物足りないですが、こちらがむしろ普通でしょう。70%であっても十分な速度が出ていると言えるのではないでしょうか。 Gen2で測定すれば、もっと高い数値になることも期待できます。 価格面を見てみると、有名メーカー製のUSBメモリ型SSDの500GBモデルが6,500-10,000円程度で販売されています。それだけを見ると8,500円前後の本商品は、あまり優位性が無いように思います。 ただ、250GBモデルと同じく、性能面では同価格帯の製品を上回っているように見えるので、その点では優位性があります。 手持ちのバッファロー製と比べても非常にコンパクトなので、サイズの面でも極めて優秀と言えます。 まだ耐久性については分かりませんが、少なくとも今のところは、強くオススメできるアイテムです。

こういった物に特に詳しくない、普通の一般人としてのレビューです。 USBメモリーかと思ったら、なんと中身はSSDとのこと。 まず250GBという容量に驚きましたが、さらに読み書きの異常な速さに２度ビックリ。 これは動画の保存やコピーに最適ですね。 本来はUSB 3.2 Gen2規格対応のものなので、私が3.0で使っている現状より速くなるようです。 逆にUSB 2.0だと速度はガクッと落ちて20MB/sになるそうで、ここは注意が必要。 とにかく快適です。時代の進化には本当に驚かされますね。 ちょっと高めの価格ですが、この性能なら高くはないと思いました。

The product packaging says this SSD is designed in Japan and made in Taiwan. The drive is very small and lightweight. Length is 2.2 inches with the cap on. It fits precisely in my USB port and feels well made. Data speeds are very fast, which is very handy if you are copying 100GB or more at a time. SSD technology should be more more reliable than those old USB flash drives.

「アマゾン限定ブランド」ということで、アマゾンの信用を手掛かりに購入しました。しかしながら、パソコン側がUSBを認識はするものの、書き込み不能でした。他のPCで試しても同じ状況でした。この製品のみが不良品であったことを願います。
