I like how this product works as it should. There is no interruptions and the picture quality is as good as it gets!

So this product works sometimes. Ive used this for 2 weeks and ran through all the trouble shooting about 5 times I got it to work once with my TV but its just too annoying when it doesnt work. It keeps Blue screening and trying to figure out if its AV or SV honestly it might be because I have a very new TV but I really cant recommend this product

I purchased this product to be able to display my GameCube onto my computer monitor, as well as being able to stream the game to friends to watch. There is a little switch to change aspect ratios to fit more modern television screens, however it does make the image a little more stretched, which is expected. One thing which I, as well as many others, have noticed, is the device appears to run a little warm (or even hot) after extended usage. The company makes you aware of it within the attached manual, however I do not believe this should even be happening to start with. Another thing to note is that my package did not come with the promised USB power adapter, which I had to contact the support team in order to get that sorted out. To my it is not that big of a deal, however I did believe it was note-worthy.

I was able to get out to work 1 time. All other times it has just been Blu screen. When it worked it was beautiful, when it worked.

Nice to be able to hook up my N64 withHDMI. This does not upscale the picture, it’s merely a pass-through, but does what it does well.

Weve kept all our Nintendos. I guess we have all of the old cartridge based ones. Theres just something intangible about playing the real Super Mario Brothers on an old NES, or Ocarina of Time on an N64. The N64 in particular, with its oddball controller, is a great experience for my family. They still dont really have anything like 4 player Goldeneye. The real problem is that I dont have a TV with the older connections, RCA, composite, S-Video. I actually have been using a really old adapter for coaxial cable but this isnt 1985. With this adapter I can just use HDMI on any monitor or TV or projector in the house. Finally, I can enjoy crisp, reliable, hassle free video from my N64 or Super Nintendo. After playing for many hours at a time, this unit doesnt get too warm, doesnt have any flickering or other problems, and just seems to work. I have no reason not to expect it to work for years. Setup is easy. You do need to plug the USB charger in (which is basically a phone charger), and the Nintendos video cable, and the HDMI cable to your TV. Thats it. It just works from there. Manage your expectations. If youre playing SNES or N64 games emulated in native high resolution, you will be surprised that your old console doesnt actually make modern video resolutions. You might need to play with contrast and brightness, maybe even fit the picture to your TV Screen. I havent had any problems, but the quality of the picture is more or less the same as it was when I was a kid. I love it, but if you were hoping for a remastered version, perhaps you can buy that from Nintendo for their newer consoles. For the money its a reasonable value.

If your modern tv doesnt have composite inputs, this will let you plug classic game systems to your tv. With the snes classic and such, were used to razor sharp old-school graphics. This is a little more muddled. This takes the old school fuzzy composite signal and converts it into HDMI. It gives you a soft/fuzzy image, but so would a modern tv that has composite inputs. Its good for composite. The only options that do better are much more expensive. There are some adapters that take S-Video and convert it, but theyre quite a bit more if you can find them. There are the Analogue systems, but I think theyre all sold out. For the price range, this works well. If you want to get a snes or n64 working on a tv with no composite, this gives you your nostalgia kick!
