A little learning curve, then worked well. Only used once so I can not comment on durability.

Its a cheaply made tool but I wanted a cheap tool for this maybe once in awhile uses. It done the job well but wouldnt use it for a everyday tool. Did receive in one day and package well.

I am using it to break #35 but the pin doesnt go all the way because it is too thick. I can only push the pin about 3/4 of the way and then I have to just hammer it the rest of the way. Maybe this would work better for smaller chains but I cant recommend it for #35.

I used this to break a # 41 chain, was easy to use and had no problems with it.

It came quickly, was exactly what I ordered, seems to work as I need it to.

This is a great tool if you have to add or subtract links in a chain. Much easier than the others Ive had. Sorry I didnt have this sooner. It breaks the chain with ease. I use another tool to put the chain back together.

Works great, spring loaded handle for easy insertion of chain into tool. Doesn’t ruin links if you’re careful.

In Q &A section, someone asked if it would work on 530, 525, 520 chains and seller replied it would. I decided to call bluff and purchase it. Technically, it does but requires some grinding. It Will Not Work On Factory Pressed Rivets on 530, 525, and 520 Chain Without Grinding/Shaving Rivet A Bit First. It could work on the non-factory DYI rivets with the dimple on it without grinding. Chain I used it on was a 525. The Push Pin in device flattened (not harden steel) and felt like tool would break. Wished Id took a pic of it before tossing and installing the spare. Overall, its a solid design but intended for bicycle type chains or smaller.

So far so good. You have to push pin out from both sides. It’s not going to push pin out like a regular bicycle chain. If you do this the push pin should last just fine.

The chain breaker for 415 size chain is a device that pushes out the pins holding the links together. This device will only partially push the PIN out of its link nest, therefore you need to use a small punch to completely extract the pin to separate the links. It doesnt work as well as the tool for bicycle chain.
