Love Baby Einstein DVDs

Good product to keep babys attention so I can get some housework done! Baby loves all the bright colors and the movement of the toys. I want to get more Baby Einstein DVDs soon!

I can not rave enough about Baby Einstein DVDs. Seriously. Im not a fan of babies watching TV, but these movies are the most amazing thing Ive ever seen. My 9 month old daughter dances, claps, talks, and laughs out loud to these movies! I introduced her first one (Baby Mozart) at 3 months just to get her listening to classical music, and was so amazed I started buying all that I could find of these movies. I am a music educator and love classical music. Its been proven that this music promotes cognitive development, and the video is exceptional. The movie uses everyday items and toys to accompany the music and my daughter just squeals in delight. I dont believe in using TV to babysit your child, and this definitely does NOT do only that. I enjoy watching it with her, and watching the enjoyment she gets out of it. Its just the right length as well. She not only watches it, she is TRANSFIXED by every second.

I took the advice of my pediatrician and did not let my young son watch TV. I did however receive this DVD for a baby gift. After my son was about six months I would occasionally let him watch this DVD and he absolutely loved it! It kept him captivated and he would just laugh and laugh. This line of DVDs is adapted for children who have limited TV viewing; it is stimulating for their little brains with out overload the cartoons would cause. Try it!

super fast shipping. we didnt end up watching it. It was listed as a blue vhs and our friends son has severe autism and this was going to replace the blue one he broke. it being a different color didnt work out but vendor and amazon returning it was super fast

These videos get rave reviews and I just dont understand it. It is your basic toys videotaped with music. My son watches them but there are better things out there. And I would NOT buy them again or any other videos for the future.

1. the actual video content is only a few minutes 2. over half of the tape is commercials and sales promotions 3. i dont believe that this contributes more to development than anything else. of all the music in the world, it turns out that only the most banal and common are good for development? 4. even if you use the continuous play option, the idiotic copyright notice and hello Im Julie Clark are repeated each time, provoking an endless wah from baby. 5. at the end they say thanks for your support, baby einstein can make contributions to charitable organizations. baloney. why do they need to add this lie? in general, i wouldnt recommend anything from the baby einstein line. we bought three at the recommendation of friends and have been very disappointed. the entire einstein line is very much lowest common denominator technology and bestseller mentality. i have found that the wiggles are a much better buy. my baby is engaged, and started clapping and dancing at a very early age to participate in the program.

I cant believe this product would even get a 1 star rating. There are much better learning videos out there that are better than this one. I wouldnt waste my money or my daughters time watching it. My 20 month old was completely bored! Please parents, dont just buy the status quo, dig deeper. There are better (hard to find), but available products out there. Your child is worth it!

The disk could not be read by any of the CD/DVD players in my house.

Dont buy their crap. There is 10 minutes on every video that you have to watch that you cant fast forward through.
