> 3 dayGood keyboard. My kid likes it. The only downside is that the keys pop off every now and then, but it’s still a good bang for your buck :)

> 3 dayIf you’re wondering if this keyboard is mechanical, it is not. I’m not sure why they placed “mechanical-like” in the description because this doesn’t feel even remotely close to a mechanical keyboard. It reminds me of those old Dell keyboards that had full-sized keycaps but still used rubber domes. And yes, this keyboard uses rubber domes. I opted for the double pack with the included mouse. The mouse is okay; it’s pretty much weightless and the buttons are very clicky. The scroll wheel could be a hair more tactile in my opinion, but it’s no deal-breaker. It tracks fine using its red optical sensor, but since it’s so cheap I don’t care. If my daily driver dies, at least I’ll have a temporary backup now. When I first read “mechanical-like,” I was anticipating a rubber-dome keyboard that required a lot of actuation force to activate the key. I thought that it would “feel” like a mechanical keyboard in this way. But… I was sorely disappointed. It just feels like your average, everyday, mushy keyboard. Typing on it is not satisfying in the least bit, but since this a board suited for gaming, I will look the other way. It lights up, but you can’t change the color of the LEDs. It’s a rainbow pattern, and you can only adjust the brightness of the lighting or turn it off altogether. From what I can tell, you can’t enable any fancy lighting effects. The box doesn’t come with any instructions, so I don’t know if I’m wrong or not (but I’m pretty sure you can’t.) EDIT: It’s been pointed out to me that the description lists some of this information. I would still like to see a user manual in the box. In summary: if you’re looking for a cheap keyboard for gaming, this could be the one for you. The included mouse is a nice gesture (if you want it), otherwise you’ll save yourself about $9 for just the keyboard. If you’re a more serious gamer, then I’d suggest picking up a true mechanical keyboard.

> 3 dayPurchased this keyboard mouse set back in late February 2018. I needed a lit keyboard for the evenings when the kids are in bed and I want to keep the lights off. Its set-up on my home PC for work because when Im not at my shop I sometimes need to be able to work from home. So the computer is used maybe a couple hours a in the evenings. Sometimes on the weekends too. All for work-related graphic design in photoshop/illustrator. The key board still works but the mouse wheel is shot. I mainly use the mouse wheel for zooming in and out of images and scrolling up and down web pages. In my opinion this is a poorly made mouse for the limited amount of use its seen. For a gamer this mouse would last a month at best. I would give it 1 star but gave it 2 since the keyboard still works.

> 3 dayI bought this keyboard and mouse set while I saved up for the ones I really wanted and it got the job done. You cant change the light setup but that didnt bother me. Pay attention to the item title mechanical feel. I dont know how much I agree with that but its a lightweight keyboard that handled a lot of writing without any signs of wear. Same for the mouse. I would say if you want a long term keyboard and mouse for gaming, spend the money but if youre looking for to bridge the gap then go for it. I dont regret my decision to buy it.
