Basic Fun Pound Puppies Classic Stuffed Animal Plush Toy - Great Gift for Girls & Boys - 17 - White with Brown Spots

I got this for my 1 year old nephew for Christmas. From what i remember, the original was much bigger and the collar was a leathery plastic material while this collar is like a real thin cheap material. I saw where people commented that the collar has already ripped but its just a collar. Hopefully the dog will last him a long time. 4/5 stars because its not exactly like the original.

For Christmas I bought 2 pound puppies. I gave my nephew a tan one with a spot by his eye. I gave my niece a gray one with long ears. The minute they opened their gifts my brother’s eyes lit up when he saw his son holding a pp that looked just like his “spot”! My niece loved her pp that looked just like my “alice”. It was great to see them play with them just like my brother and I did!

I got this as a gift for my daughter on her 8th birthday - She absolutely loved it! “He’s so soft, I could pet him all day!”, she exclaimed. I had the same type when I was a girl and was inseparable from it. I’m so glad the quality is still as great as I remember. Highly recommend!

I loved the fact that my 40 year old daughter had these when she was young and now my 6 year old grandson wants one. Almost looks real. It’s a pleasure to buy this.

My son has one here at my home. His granddaughter always played with it. This year she asked for one. So being a good great granny I ordered 2 for my great grands.

I was a little cautious about ordering this Pound Puppy. I had read reviews that stated sometimes the puppy you got was not the one you ordered. I am pleased to say though that the puppy I recieved in record time was exactly the puppy I had ordered. I had one of these in my childhood, and while it is not the same (the foam of old is not used in these latest incarnations) it is a very good facsimile. A little smaller than the previous pups, but no less adorable. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

Just like I remember them when I was a kid! The tradition lives on in kids.

They arent as filled as they used to be but they are pretty spot on and the kids adore them. My daughter notices everything and noticed some bad stitch-manship and it bothers her (OCD). Sadly to be expected with todays cost-cutting, margin control. I gave it 2-star value as its probably closer to a $10-15 value versus $20. Its not the it item like it was in the 80s, so to justify that for the brand is a stretch. It would be worth it if it was fully stuffed like they used to be. Having made stuffed animals before, its sad that they arent.
