> 3 dayFor Christmas I bought 2 pound puppies. I gave my nephew a tan one with a spot by his eye. I gave my niece a gray one with long ears. The minute they opened their gifts my brother’s eyes lit up when he saw his son holding a pp that looked just like his “spot”! My niece loved her pp that looked just like my “alice”. It was great to see them play with them just like my brother and I did!

> 3 dayI was so excited to hear that Pound Puppies were making a comeback for 2019/20! Ive always loved Pound Puppies - when I was a little kid in the 90s, I had a few of the much smaller Pound Puppies plushies, and I continued collecting them as the toy franchise repeatedly changed hands/got rebooted throughout the 90s - 2000s! I also happened to find quite a few original 80s ones while traversing antique stores/flea markets. I just love dogs and I particularly never could say no to stuffed animals with sad, downtrodden expressions. I chose this Pound Puppy in particular (the white one with brown spots) because it reminded me of an 80s one I used to have that I loved. I love him! He has a soft, smooth fabric texture similar to an 80s Pound Puppy, hes stuffed a just-right amount which allows him to be sturdy yet still cuddly and floppy, and his collar even has a name tag that can be personalized (during the 80s, you could send a mail-away requesting a personalized Pound Puppy nametag, as well as an adoption certificate and a sheet of stickers, per archived commercials on YouTube)! By and large, these repro Pound Puppies are adorable and more or less identical to the 80s toys in terms of appearance. ...On a related note, the packaging housing the plush puppy is more or less the same as it was in the 80s as well! Included with each 17-inch Pound Puppy is a personalizable adoption certificate and stickers. I cant recommend these sweet retro Pound Puppies enough, whether you know a child who would love one, or if you grew up with them and want one for nostalgic reasons. :)

> 3 dayNot exactly like the original but very close! 80s baby here... I was more than happy to get my puppy back! I lost my original one at a doctor appointment many years ago. The only issue I have is that we didnt order 3 at once, my 5 yr old and 1 year old keep puppy napping him on me! Lol My 5 year old has never really been interested in stuffed animals but he loves this one, even named him and actually hugs him to sleep!
