This is a great mat for under the sink! Easy to cut to the size I needed and one was enough for under two sinks! I disagree with the instructions to put the slippery side down, though. The other side is like felt and I fee it would grab dirt and dust, etc and would be hard to clean. So, I put it in with the more rubber side up so it can just be wiped off with a paper towel.

Does not include container, just mat.

This was a little thinner and flimsier than I expected. Dont get me wrong, it WILL DO THE JOB, but I was just imagining it to be a bit thicker and sturdier. I guess if you get too thick, it would be hard to roll up. I worry that if I get any oil on the fabric side, it will make a mess - but so far I havent had any trouble. It is strong enough and it rolls up easily, and definitely protects your garage floor. I feel like if it were heavier, you could just leave it down under a leaky car or vehicle. But this seems like it wouldnt stay in place for long-term use like that, so you would need to probably find something different if you wanted to do that. But I change the oil in my Corvette and I definitely appreciate having a spill mat underneath because my car has TWO oil drain plugs (PLUS the oil filter itself) so it can get messy very easily. Ill be using it again soon because the oil change light has just come on again so I am due. Ill post additional comments after I change the oil if there are any problems or positive things I find when doing the project. ONE OTHER THING - we have a lot of critters in our house. Ferrets in particular, and I cant help but think this might be useful in trying to keep their mess to a minimum. I am thinking we could use it to put under the litter boxes... Or under food bowls, or even a whole bottom level of one of their cages, which are rather large. So this could have other uses as well. Thank you for reading my review. I take my reviews very seriously and I think it is super important for us to share our experiences on Amazon so that we can help each other out to spot products that dont live up to their claims, and ALSO to share great products with one another so we can find the right products to make our lives easier. It is a piece of material, waterproof I’m assuming. I thought it was a tray. Trays have sides, this don’t.

Originally, planned to use this under the snow blower, which typically has drips of oil/gas fall to the floor when cleaning, maintenance or fueling. However, the basement utility sink was clogged, and I decided to switch out the U trap that looked like it was ready to leak, too. So, I bailed out the sink, and placed a pail under the sink to catch fluids while I disconnect the pipe. Then an idea flash came to mind. Knowing the possible mess, I had towels at the ready. But, I had this product sitting around, waiting to be used in the garage. Instead, I unpacked it, and lined the floor under the utility sink, put the pail on it, and removed the pipe. While the pail caught most of the fluids, splashes were immediately absorbed into the mat. Removing the pail, i continued by snaking the pipe, and then replacing the trap joint. The spill mat performed with excellence; Absorbed fluids, with a waterproof bottom surface keeping the floor dry. No towels were needed to clean up the area, nor to sop up any mess. Perhaps the cleanest plumbing repair job Ive ever done. I just rinsed the mat (in the utility sink, haha), and put outside in the sunlight to dry. After some hours, it was good as new. Took it to the garage, and its waiting until I need to attend to the snow blower. Considering getting another to add to my tool kit, exclusively for plumbing repairs. High recommendation for this product.

I have an older car that I cant part with and this oil mat is great to catch what drips out so my floor does not get ruined. Plus it is so handy to use when hauling my gas can to fill up the lawnmower. If you are going to leave it on your floor you will have to tape it down. Great product and easy to use.

It has a good size 36 x 30 somewhat wide, this piece has a part that does not let it slide keeping it in place at all times. On the other hand it is waterproof so you can change the oil in your car, make crafts that include liquids. Protects the area where it is placed and is easy to wash. It is an indispensable item in our garage and craft area where you work with paint and other liquids

Protects well from moisture and spills. Its very similar to carpet and needs to be vacuumed instead of wiped, which makes it hard to clean.
