Greater than one weekThe amount of mist even on the low setting is perfect. There are not directions for the aromatherapy oils but it was easy to figure out. Adding water was easy peasy. Would definitely recommend!

Terrible instructions, nothing about using the aromatherapy holder. Gets surface wet when you remove top to fill I’ll use this until it breaks but will look for a top fill unit in the future

How to Clean My Humidifier?
We suggest that you clean the humidifier every three days. That might sound like a lot of work, but it’s worth doing to avoid the dreaded humidifier lung.
1. Unplug and disassemble your humidifier.
2. Fill the tank with water as you normally would, but add 2 tablespoons of distilled white vinegar (citric acid powder, or a similar weak acid also applied)
3. Let this mixture sit in the tank for 30 minutes.
4. Empty the humidifier, and use a cleaning brush and cloth to scrub any areas with buildup.
5. Rinse all the parts and let them air dry for 30 to 60 minutes before you’re ready to use the humidifier again.
