Greater than one weekThe hole to add water to this humidifier is the size of pop bottle hole. Why so small is beyond me. I could actually use a funnel which they should have included to add water. Ridiculous design. All in all it does work quite good but the top isn’t stationary and you have to remember when you turn it over to add the water to remove it or off onto the floor it goes. Poorly designed humidifier.

How to Clean My Humidifier?
We suggest that you clean the humidifier every three days. That might sound like a lot of work, but it’s worth doing to avoid the dreaded humidifier lung.
1. Unplug and disassemble your humidifier.
2. Fill the tank with water as you normally would, but add 2 tablespoons of distilled white vinegar (citric acid powder, or a similar weak acid also applied)
3. Let this mixture sit in the tank for 30 minutes.
4. Empty the humidifier, and use a cleaning brush and cloth to scrub any areas with buildup.
5. Rinse all the parts and let them air dry for 30 to 60 minutes before you’re ready to use the humidifier again.
