> 3 dayI didnt want a really dark shield that would cut vision at night so I figured I would try this shade. It works pretty well and cutting enough glare so that you dont have to squint. Still light enough to see at dusk as well. Super easy to install.

07-06-2025Ive been wanting to get a Pinlock system for my helmet ever since seeing how well it worked on friends helmets. I have a Bell Revolver Evo helmet. Being an older model, and as far as I know, no longer manufactured, makes it hard to find accessories. So when I found this deal on Amazon, I was happy. I was unsure however, because of the vague description, if this was just the shield, or the shield AND the Pinlock insert. Also, the main image on the ad does not look like the correct shield for the Bell Click Release helmets. But I took the chance and ordered it. When I opened the box, I was happy to see that it is in fact the correct shield, and includes both the shield and the insert. Its a great deal considering a clear shield alone cost the same as this Pinlock shield and insert together. I havent used it on my helmet yet, but I have no doubt itll work great, like most Pinlock systems. Update: Ive ridden with this shield several times now. The shield is great, and the Pinlock insert is great. It does just what its supposed to do, it prevents the shield from fogging up. It doesnt distort my vision at all. However, I had to take away one star. When raising the shield from the down position, the Pinlock insert catches on the upper rim of the face opening of my helmet, making it hard to open. I either have to force it open, or raise the modular portion of my helmet first in order to raise the shield. If the designers had moved the position of the insert down, just a fraction of an inch, this wouldnt happen. But all in all, its still a great deal.

> 3 dayI was expecting the light smoke to be slightly darker than what I got, but it is light smoke, so I guess I cant complain much. Its a very light tint, just slightly more than the clear visor, but at least I wont have to worry about it being too dark when the sun starts going down.

> 3 dayI’ve ordered this visor two or three times already (i tend to drop my helmet) and am always satisfied. They always come correct no issues with fitment, pretty decent packaging, and timely delivery.

> 3 dayPros: -Looks absolutely stunning!!!(huge emphasis) -Comes with anti-fog features -Tinted on the inside to help combat being Sun-blind -Girls cant see you creeping Cons: -Smudges extremely easily -While usable during nighttime conditions, its fairly dangerous. Highly recommend having a non-tinted visors to switch out when night-riding. The visor looks fantastic. Just make sure you have a soft cloth handy to wash the loads of fingerprints this thing attracts(use water only!). Also take care if using it at night.

> 3 dayI bought 2 one came perfectly new the other worse then my current one. I included my current one on my helmet and the one that came scratched and dirty it was so bad I thought it was just roughed up from ups but it has VERY obvious wear from someone who had it on their helmet. Both the inside and outside of the lenses were dirty and scratched even had hair behind the protector it was honestly gross. Started the process for return hopefully it get sorted out well will update.

> 3 dayLens is a perfect balance of tinting without being too dark (still cant be used at night) and the mirror finish looks great. Only downside is the protective film that you peel off the lens leaves a noticeable imprint or residue from the text on the lens that has yet to wear off. This is not noticeable when looking through the lens, but when looking at the mirror side of the lens from outside the helmet.
