> 3 dayThis one is way better than the one that comes with the helmets by default. It’s perfect for driving around, day or night.

> 3 dayWell I normally wear high quality sunglasses that sell for over 200 bucks , and Polarization is a must on any sunglass EYEwear ,,,,,Now with the BLUE DARK IRIDIUM sun shield, its Quality is so good I can use the shield without sunglasses and it looks so good,,,,,now I do not have to worry about sunglasses sweeting or pinching my face in the Helmet, I can ride & if at nighttime, with a 10 sec change of shields,,,,,,so far Im very happy with the DARK BLUE IRIDIUM face shield,,,,,I used the Dark smoked one before and for 30 buck extra total 70 bucks its so much better than the Dark Smoke that sells for 40 bucks .....70 bucks and worth every cent......

> 3 dayI purchased the smoke visor(not light smoke, or dark smoke, just smoke) as the picture shows it is a bit darker than the original clear. If you want mass sunlight block then definitely go for the dark smoke. I have blue eyes that are pretty sensitive to the sun and so far this has been much better than the original visor.

> 3 dayFits my helmet, works as designed but seems to fog up easier than my Shoei faceshield.

> 3 dayThis looks perfect on my helmet. The iridium coating keeps it dark and prevents people from seeing my eyes even on those bright California days. The only thing that I wish wasnt there was the stamped on the visor warning that the visor is not for night time use. Its a good warning, but Im not thrilled that its permanently stamped on it. Its in the upper corner, but for me it takes away a bit from the sleek look. Its not terrible, but I dont love it. Maybe its required by law, I dont know. That being said it looks great on my helmet.

> 3 dayNot a fan of transition visor. Too fragile. This was a great alternative.

20-11-2024Im satisfied with the quality and the cost of the helmet, but it kills me to spend half the helmet cost for a replacement shield... Cost is double for these shields as compared to other brand helmets of similar quality and use...The helmet is the lowest priced helmet that Bell offers...but not the shields...$40 for clear and color tinted, $65 for iridium colored tints, and $130 for photo-gray transitional type...the helmet ranges from $100 to $150...and now there is another higher dollar version of the same helmet...
