I just received this monitor and I was very pleased with the ease of setting it up and the picture quality. I connected it to my MacBook Pro using the included Usb-C cable. The size of the display (32) is impressive, the clarity and brightness are superb. I am extremely pleased with my purchase, especially since I originally saw another comparable BenQ display for $1100. I didnt want to spend that much, and fortunately I didnt need to. This one is perfect!

The right price, the quality is very good, and the speakers are also very good. I usually use it to play switch.

This monitor is *chefs kiss*. I Bought the EW2480. I am amazed and absolutely in love. The size, the clarity, the picture quality - everything is just the icing on the cake. Speakers are great! As for the HDR I cant decide between it being a gimmick or HDR..it improves picture quality yes but it just seems like a preset of picture settings? Casual non competitive gaming is great on this so dont fret or be scared away. This monitor is a very quality build for $180 (thats with tax) and to think I almost went with an Asus monitor thats 10 years old...for the same price..and not even a quality build. I also almost went with the GW2480 to save money but soooo glad I didnt. This monitor is a dream.

I bought this for a family member. They will not be gaming on it so I cant really give a review on that aspect of it but for consuming media and business its great. The speakers on it arent bad. They sound much better than my Asus monitors that cost 3 times as much.

I absolutely love this monitor , thought a 32 would be too much but it grows on you fast . Can now read tiny print easily . Dont know about gaming , I dont do that crap . The monitor is big and solid , very stable stand .....excellent quality . Bought this to hook up to new Mac mini M1 able to add smaller second monitor on the side and its all great .

Sitting 8 hours a day reading resumes takes a toll. Having this large Monitor definitely helps reduce stress in the eyes

For the price, this monitor is a pleasant surprise. Few other monitors in this bracket can boast the same colour accuracy (there are many Youtube reviews where accurate colour measurements are provided in detail) or entry-level HDR10. At this price, one cannot expect high-level HDR, but the brightness remains a surprise delight, (300 nits as opposed to 100 for regular monitors) to make it a worthy contender in the gaming, as well as design environments. The HDR and 10-bit colour depth require some initial setting up work, partly because it is relatively new tech. With some software, for example, you will need to experiment with the monitor UI settings to find a sweet spot. In terms of games, The Division 2 and Sekiro both automatically picks up the HDR capability and applies it in-game, with remarkable results at 4K clarity. In one review the specs were related as being on a par with a Retina display and you can see why. It is important to ensure the latest HDMI (2.0) 18 Gbps high speed and DisplayPort (1.4) cabling is used, some of which are included depending on region. Even though it is a FreeSync monitor, an Nvidia card will happily run on it, albeit without the sync benefit. On the down side: the stated viewing angles are accurate, but to get the best colour representation it is best to face the monitor directly. Shifting around shows up some unwanted colour shifts, which you would likely not find in an IPS panel, but at a substantially higher price. Other than that, a fantastic buy. The 4ms response time balances well with the 60 Hz refresh rate, making this monitor ideal for work and play, especially if your budget does not stretch to professional designer products yet.

The monitor was easy to set up and delivers a great image. Unfortunately after about 30 days of use it developed a vertical line with missing green pixels. I reported this to BenQ support along with a photo of showing the defect. They immediately offered to replace the monitor and pay shipping both ways. The new monitor arrived quickly and has been working great.
