Wow, totally impressed by the mango butter. Im a big fan of pampering myself. Ive have replaced my ponds facial cream for the butter. Ive used it consecutively for the past 4 days. Wash you face and apply..then feel the magic. My face is comparative to a babies bottom and so soft! Ive officially made this part of my reversing age regimen..lol. One minor minor drawback, not even. I wish it smelled like a mango. But Im in love with it! Will buy again and again. Update: Ive bought the butter 3x since my last review...Im a happy customer

Mango butter, where have you been all my life? Seriously, I began making lotion bars and cold-process soap a few years ago and have always used Shea butter (along with other butters and oils) in my recipes. Unrefined Shea butter is just unpleasant...refined Shea butter is so excessively greasy. Mango butter is a perfect balance; it is not overly greasy and it has a pleasant, mild scent. The scent of this product reminds me a little of Play-Doh, but not nearly as strong!! Like a very light natural smell. I did not notice any unpleasant or foul odor from this butter. It was a very nice creamy white color and it sliced beautifully and easily. I am definitely purchasing more!!

I have a small collection of lotions (who doesnt enjoy having soft skin?) and wanted to add a simple, skin-friendly ingredient like mango body butter for when I longed for something more natural. I like to start with a quarter size amount, warm it up with my palms until it melts, and pat it into my skin. I typically slather it on after a shower or at night before going to sleep so that I may wake up with soft skin. I dont have a strong preference for scented or unscented items and didnt mind that this was unscented. In fact, I feel as though this would be appealing to others who prefer an unscented body cream. Currently, I store it my mango body butter in a glass container for aesthetic purposes and it has not gone bad.

Ive been using this shea butter as a part of my DIY face wash (whipped up with almond oil & shea butter [and ground oats as an exfoliant for the mornings]) and my skin has never looked better! I have super sensitive skin and have had no issues at all. And no, it doesnt smell like mango...and its not supposed to. It has a rich earthy smell. My only complaint would be the packaging; it comes sort of shrink wrapped, which makes it a little difficult to get out, but not a big deal :)

Ive ordered this mango butter multiple times. Each time, the quality of the product was excellent. I use this mango butter as an ingredient for cold process soaps, various heat emulsion lotions, and face moisturizer. I even have an amazing body scrub formula that I use it for!! Because mango butter has a nicely balanced fatty acid profile, it is a truly versatile raw ingredient for numerous skincare products. In fact, I plan to use it in a lip balm formula as well. Overall, my experience buying this particular product has been outstanding. Thus, I would recommend this mango butter to others. And, by the way, the shea butter by this company is equally superb - many of my formulas use both products! If anyone has a question for me, please ask. Cheers! :)

I used the Mango butter to whip up some body butters using different essential oils. The item is packaged well, easy to use and very clean. I made several batches of body butters and each type of essential oil worked really well with this Mango butter. If youre melting the Mango butter, remember the butter will break. Even if you put it in the fridge, the butter cannot be unbroken. However, regardless of the style you use to mix up the Mango butter, the product itself works well unheated or heated.

When I got tired of Shea butter scent (and I am allergic to coconuts), I wanted to give Mango butter a try. It is a solid butter, packaged well. I use it as a base for home made face moisturizers. Good quality product, so far best choice out of solid butters.

Although it does leave the skin moisturized and soft, it is a little grainy as some other reviews have mentioned. After rubbing in hands or applying, there are some grains that will not melt, so you are left picking them off. I dont notice any unpleasant smell or scent. Other than the grains, I like the way it leaves my skin feeling and looking.

I havent made much use of this product by itself, but I have used it in a body butter recipe. If I had to describe the consistency, I would say its somewhat like a combination of coconut oil and shea butter. Its kind of grainy but goes on smooth. I like that it hardly has any scent at all, because I can use it in place of shea butter in recipes if I dont want a strong scent. I like this product and if I get more mango butter in the future, I will certainly buy it from this company.

Mango butter is AMAZING. I was bit by a dog on my face a few years ago and I had gotten some mango butter for some soap i was planning to make. After my face was properly cleaned and wounds disinfected I used some mango butter on the wounds ... still 7 years later you cant see where I was bitten. I use it for my dry skin and it works as great as shea butter or coconut oil.
