Not 2700k more like 3000k. I swear there is a green hue to them. Spend a little more and get a better quality bulb and the Cri should be better.

Very bright light. I would say more white, than soft white. Work well. All bulbs in package worked.

Cant speak to the longevity of these bulbs as theyve just arrived, but they were just as advertised with the expected brightness and color temperature.

These have good color at 2700K, right at what one would see from a frosted incandescent bulb. Great for a 40W application, and not paying out of pocket. Of course time will be the real judge on longevity.

We have a six-bulb chandelier in one room of our house that is on most of the day. The way the house is configured, it hardly gets any sunlight, but theres a lot of traffic and use, so there needs to be light. I cant tell you how tired Ive gotten of changing bulbs out 40-watt bulbs. Literally, every other week I was changing at LEAST one bulb! Even using the long life bulbs, they just kept burning out. And so - I decided to try these Bioluz LED 40 Watt LED Light Bulbs. Prices on LEDs have dropped over the years, and these bulbs are quite reasonable now. The result? Almost three months now and Ive not changed any bulbs. The light is a tad whiter than what we enjoyed before, but weve gotten used to it. And considering theyre burning only 6 watts each, Im now using only 36 watts per hour instead of 240 watts per hour. For an estimated 10 hours of use per day, thats 360 watts vs. 2400 watts. All around, this was a wise purchase -- one that I should have done a long time ago. Highly recommended.

What are Lumens and Kelvins?

Lumens are a measurement of how much light is generated – or brightness – each lumen emits approximately the same amount of light as one candle.

Kelvin represents the "color" of the light.

Bioluz LEDs are manufactured so that our 2700K (Warm White) bulbs are nearly identical in color to incandescent bulbs. Our 3000K (Soft White) bulbs are designed to match halogen bulbs. 4000K (Cool White) and 5000K (Daylight) bulbs give a more modern look like in an office.

Many brands sell and market higher Kelvin (4-5000) bulbs with lower lumens to make them "appear" brighter. Bioluz LED manufactures the correct color bulbs with exceptionally bright, energy efficient LEDs, so you get the color and brightness you"re accustomed to without the harsh effect of higher color temperatures.
