The bulbs are nice looking ( for a bulb) since they stick out over my bathroom vanity. I noticed they run cooler than the lights that they replaced, which is a plus.

OH i am buying these from now on!!!!! Light is soft on the eyes yet bright! The fact they are LED excites me that I know these will last more than a week like the standard ones. (I am afraid of the spiral ones due to the health hazards of breakage and clean up.) These were priced comparable with Lowes in our area so I was happy to see I was not over paying. I will buy from again :)

This is how they came. Box was open in the bag. Im surprised that they were not broken!

See for yourself… 40w incandescent on the left and the Bioluz 6w LED bulb on the right. Rated 4 stars due to the caution against use with dimmers and fully enclosed fixtures.

These light bulbs make a weird noise when I turn them on and off (like 3 or 4 clicks reminiscent of an insect). They also have a barely audible (but audible nonetheless) high-pitched buzz. Maybe I have a heightened sense of hearing but its unpleasant. Wouldnt buy again.
