Greater than one weekI wanted to replace my old 60w bulbs with LED. So I first ordered the LED 60w version. The 60w LED was too bright in my rooms. I then ordered the 40w LED and it was just right. You might want to keep this point in mind when ordering.

> 3 dayIn my original review I said these bulbs would not work in my lamp. As it turns out they work just fine. These were the first LEDs Ive bought and I have learned something that may help others who are having trouble with LEDs. The base of LED bulbs may not extend as far into the socket as your standard bulbs. Disconnect the fixture from power, and pry up the contact (the little tongue of metal at the bottom of the socket) just a little bit using a flat screwdriver, tongue depressor, pop sickle stick, etc. Now your LEDs should work as expected. My guess is that poor contact could also cause them to flicker or not work consistently. This same remedy should work. Hope this helps!

> 3 dayThis product is very good. The bulbs are very bright as for long term that is to be determined at much later date.

Greater than one weekI had bought some 60 watt LED bulbs for a few 3-light fixtures, but they were too bright. They also had a stark white light. These 40 watt bulbs had just the right amount of light and they have a warmer color of light.

> 3 dayComing very close to the lightweight feel of an incandescent and, if the projected lifespan is correct, would be more economical. Would definitely buy again.
