These seem to be Good bulbs and I am interested to see if they actually last for 25,000 hours. They are a Yellow color, Not White so be aware of this fact. If you are looking for a Pure White Bulb this is Not what you are looking for. It is a nice light though and they seem to be well made.

Its a bit preemptive to write a review on light bulbs, especially when the overall quality is not just determined by brightness, but by duration/longevity of the bulb. So on that note, I can only comment on the brightness. For a 40 watt equivalent bulb, these little guys are small scoops of pure sunlight. In short - they are BRIGHT. And I have no problem with that :) I was leery about heat dissipation, but after running them for at least 30 min, I didnt find any heat concerns around the base. A freshly toasted bagel has more heat than the bulb portion of it. That about sums up my experience so far! Ill keep an eye on them and edit/comment my review if any of them fail within the expected life. So far, I am extremely impressed with my first step into LED bulbs. I may invest in upgrading the rest of the house with this voodoo.

super lights, literally!...Dont overwatt (new word) your order. Im sure descriptions in wattage are accurate, but they run on the bright (good even, warm) light side seemingly, for their stated wattage. Well packaged also.

I bought these to replace Home Depot 60 watt equivalent LED bulbs. The Home Dept bulbs were fine, except they were too bright for my application. These Bioluz bulbs emit the right amount of light and the color is good. They do buzz, however. I do not have them on a dimmer, just an on-off switch. My fixtures use 6 bulbs so the noise is noticeable, about like an old flourescent light. So if noise will bother you, be advised. Update: After 2 months the high-pitched scream went away. No idea why, but it is gone and I am happy. Raising my rating from 3 stars to 4.

Been looking for a 40 watt LED bulbs, just right.

I have to change these bulbs more frequently than I did the old style.

Great bulbs, great packaging and nice bulbs. I will continue to buy these.

So far they are very long lasting.
