> 24 hourAlthough a bit heavier than my old Bissell PET, I really love this vacuum BUT the filter and sponges that was listed as “frequently bought together” are not the correct ones for this Bissell (model 3061). Did not discover that until today when I washed the filter that came with the vacuum and tried to place in a new one in. I won’t trust that frequently bought list again. I already looked on the Bissell site and ordered the correct filters and found this model does not even use sponges. So off to UPS Tuesday to return.

> 24 hourI have health problems so my old heavy vacuum was impossible for me to handle. This is light weight and I have only one room to vacuum so it is just fine.

> 24 hourI wrote a negative review soon after I bought this because, like other reviewers, my Bissell shut off after a few seconds. I contacted the company and they responded, but it was the holidays. Vacuuming wasnt high of my activity list. Anyway, its been a couple of months and I love this little machine. I have a small house - not open concept, so it got really old dragging a cord and a canister from room to room. Many of them had handles that were too short and hurt my back. This thing is lightweight and not having to drag the cord - and maneuver around furniture - well, life altering. Its lightweight and it maneuvers beautifully. It also picks up a TON. I live alone - no pets and I cant believe what I pick up after a few uses. Its so easy to use that I often grab it just to do a quick sweep of spaces I use a lot. This morning I used the small hand held to do off some furniture and under cushions. So impressed. I would 100% recommend this. Just give it a chance if when you first get it it shuts off after a few seconds. Mine no longer does that. So glad I kept it!

> 24 hourEasy to use, easy to empty. Don’t overdo it without emptying or “channel” will clog and you will spend a long time poking debris out with a knife. More of the vac should come apart! Power ok, gets up a lot of cat hair. Ps vac will just stop if badly clogged. Holds a charge in between uses but takes a while to charge. A little awkward to get the plug into vacuum.

> 24 hourI got this to use as a second vacuum cleaner, just for quick clean up in between regular cleanings. Lightweight and maneuvers well. Love the added bonus of the handheld. Easy to dump the dirt. Works well for me, would not want this as my only vacuum, since it probably would need recharging in the middle of cleaning. But I got this for quick clean up and it does the job.

> 24 hourI absolutely love this vac -- Ive had it almost 3 months now, and I now I vacuum every day, first thing after I get up. (Im a person who used to absolutely hate vacuuming.). Here are some of the many things I love: > Light weight & easy to maneuver. It is a cinch to vacuum 3-4 rooms of my house in 10 minutes. > All the controls -- power button, brush switch, etc. are on the front of the handle, positioned directly under my thumb when holding the handle with a natural grip. So vacuuming is a completely one-handed operation. > Clear plastic over the brush roll -- I can see at a glance whether the brush roll is turning, and I can also easily see if the roll needs to be cleaned. > I love the 2-in-one design with the hand vac -- the hand vac is always available, easily accessible because the full vac stands upright on its own when not in use. > Large charging light indicator -- very easy to see when Im vacuuming. Also, I like the way the indicator flashes red not only for low battery, but if anything gets caught in the roller brush -- plus the roller brush stops immediately when that happens, so very easy to remove whatever object has managed to get sucked up. > Super easy to keep the vac clean -- I always empty the dust bin after I vacuum each day. The filter is very easy to remove for cleaning & I bought some replacement filters so I can wash and swap out for a clean & dry filter every few days. (I highly recommend this, it amazes me how dirty the filter gets after only a few days use) > The way the handle snaps forward when vacuuming for easy maneuvering under furniture is cool. I thought at first that this was a silly gimmick, until I realized how easy it made the task of routine cleaning under tables, chairs, etc. > Great suction. I dont expect a cordless vac to rival a heavy-duty vac for deep cleaning, but this really does a terrific job. Anyway, when shopping I felt overwhelmed by all the options for a cordless stick vac, but Im very glad that this is the one I chose.

> 24 hourI was looking for a light vacuum to use in between my weekly heavy vacuuming and I’m so glad I purchased this! It’s super lightweight, stands alone, and does a great job in picking up all the little fuzz and hair on the hardwood and tile. It actually does a nice job on carpets too. I’ve never ran out of a charge and I do my whole house. So glad I didn’t listen to the negative reviews. Super pleased with this purchase!

> 24 hourThis is my first cordless vacuum after a lifetime of corded behemoths that cause carpal tunnel syndrome and tennis elbow after one use. So maybe I’m easily impressed. But this Bissell 3061 Featherweight has far outstripped my expectations. First, let me say that I’m using it primarily on vinyl kitchen floors. It also gets used on swaths of carpet near the kitchen floor, but I cannot speak to how well it would work as a primary carpet vacuum. Having been a multi-pet person most of my life (hence my King Kong vacuum cleaners), I’m pretty sure that this Bissell stick vacuum wouldn’t be my first choice for removing cat and dog fur from a large carpeted area. But for crumbs and outdoor stuff carried in on people’s shoes, this thing is perfect. Its maneuverability is amazing! I practically need a block and tackle to change direction with my big vacuums. With this one, I can actually hold a soda in one hand and vacuum with the other! (Yes, simple things make me very happy.) Its rotational capacity makes turning the vacuum when it’s in a tight spot incredibly easy. I have back issues, and the light weight plus the flexibility makes this vacuum as much of a pleasure to use as any vacuum can be. This Bissell has done a very nice job on what I’d estimate is about 12 square feet of medium-pile carpet adjacent to the kitchen. I do have to run it over the area two or three times, but since I can easily do three runs in 30 seconds, I’m not complaining. On the vinyl kitchen floor, I usually do two runs, mainly because my eyesight is bad, and the design of the floor makes it hard to tell where I’ve already vacuumed. (Guess I need to let the floor get a lot dirtier.) Surprisingly, even set on the “hard floor” setting, my huge vacuums miss what this one picks up, probably because I can maneuver this one and vacuum more thoroughly. The sweeper blades are easy to clean, and the fact that this Bissell really, actually stands up on its own, makes it the vacuum of my dreams. The folding handle works (in both directions), and, while no vacuum is quiet, this one doesn’t leave my ears ringing. I’ve only had the vacuum for about a month, so I can’t speak to durability. (If it falls apart in the next 12 months, I’ll update my review.)

> 24 hourI LOVE this! I bought a house from a “flipper” and it is a little more than half carpet, the rest is hardwood and the kitchen, linoleum. I have four dogs. I also have neuropathy, making it hard to maneuver with no obstacles not to mention with furnishings. I have been struggling to keep the dog hair and dust down with a broom due to my asthma. Today I whipped out my little Bissell and gave it a whirl. It is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. I did not have to pull out my sofa and try to get behind with the broom. I simply used the bend down handle feature and away went all the fur and dust. I have huge library cabinets that cannot be moved, but I went right under those as well. I was disgusted at what the broom and Swiffer had been missing. I just can’t get under there like I used to. It took up pieces of kibble from the kitchen floor, bits of dried rice, and dirt the dogs bring in. I have a very dusty house despite air purifiers. This sucks up all the dust and human hair from the bathroom floor too. A word about carpet. This appliance is just fine for my area rugs and I am certain it would be fine for ordinary plush carpet of a standard depth. However, the “flipper” chose to put in cheap ugly shag carpeting (can you actually believe that?!) in the bedrooms and small family room). This product does not provide heavy suction for shag carpet. It did remove surface and craft glitter, but there were larger bits that I had to go over several times. I love this vacuum for the purpose I bought it for, to stay on top of the dog hair in my floored areas, which is where I spend 2/3 of my day. It does a fantastic job. No more taking the broom and dustpan out everyday. I love that it is cordless and recharges with ease. I am not tripping over a cord. The dirt bin is small, but it is simple to empty in 2 seconds. I did my living, dining, and kitchen areas and then had to empty it, but my home is small. This is a fabulous help to me!

> 24 hourThe vacuum is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. It is perfect for small areas or spot pickup. The only downside for me is the filter system. The double filter is easy to clean on the outside, but the cloth-like inner filter requires much more work to clean.
