BISSELL, 3061 Featherweight Cordless Stick Vacuum, Electric Blue, Black

This Bissell cordless was purchased for the RV, to replace a corded Shark. I wanted something lighter and not top heavy, and this fits the bill. It has better suction than anticipated, is super easy to maneuver, can be used with the roller on or off, and has an easily detachable hand-held vac (that far exceeds my Black and Decker). It also comes with two tools, including a crevice tool. It works well for both hard floor and carpet (not just flat carpet), and doesnt spit out small crumbs. The suction is strong enough to pick up the rubber-backed bathroom rug; it actually turned itself off, instead of continuing to pull in and mangle the rug, which I consider a good thing; after a minute I could restart it. I was surprised how much fiber, dirt, and hair it picked up, especially after vacuuming with the Shark just the week before. I typically run it steady 20 minutes and there is no decrease in power. Removing the brush to clean is easy (use a coin to turn the release plug), but getting it back on takes some finagling until getting the hang of it. Emptying the dirt cup is a piece of cake. This is proving a good buy for RV usage, and Id recommend it for pickups or fast weekly home use as well, particularly hard floors and flat to short pile carpet. Dont go too quickly; it works best at a more even pace. Love not messing with a cord, plus that the handle fold down for more compact storage. Charges in about 3 hours after being very low. Very easy on the back and wrists.

This Bissell vacuum works great. First, it is what it is, a light weight cordless vac. But Ive found it to work so much better than other similar products Ive used. This Bissell delivered more sucking power, better battery life (I can vac all the rugs in the house on one charge), great brush action, and its easy to clean. Since I have dogs this is a big feature for me. Plus I love the fact that I can lower the vacuum handle to move under beds. That saves my back and make vacuuming easier to do. Yea!

Easy to use, easy to empty. Don’t overdo it without emptying or “channel” will clog and you will spend a long time poking debris out with a knife. More of the vac should come apart! Power ok, gets up a lot of cat hair. Ps vac will just stop if badly clogged. Holds a charge in between uses but takes a while to charge. A little awkward to get the plug into vacuum.

This stick vacuum cleaner has the best suction, even for cleaning car floors. It is a pleasure to use it, especially for an older person. Thanks Bissell!

Great for indoor and amazing quality and picks up my dogs hair very well.

This vacuum does an excellent job on pickup, maneuverability, and it is light weight. But the battery time is only about 15 to 17 minutes, and then several hours to recharge. It does say in the description that run time is only up to 20 minutes. So, that is what you git.

This is the fourth one I bought. And the same thing happened. The hand vac part keeps working but the vaccum part quits. Its fine in the first but after a month or some the bottom part stops. But you need the bottom part to charge the hand vacuum part

This is my first cordless vacuum after a lifetime of corded behemoths that cause carpal tunnel syndrome and tennis elbow after one use. So maybe I’m easily impressed. But this Bissell 3061 Featherweight has far outstripped my expectations. First, let me say that I’m using it primarily on vinyl kitchen floors. It also gets used on swaths of carpet near the kitchen floor, but I cannot speak to how well it would work as a primary carpet vacuum. Having been a multi-pet person most of my life (hence my King Kong vacuum cleaners), I’m pretty sure that this Bissell stick vacuum wouldn’t be my first choice for removing cat and dog fur from a large carpeted area. But for crumbs and outdoor stuff carried in on people’s shoes, this thing is perfect. Its maneuverability is amazing! I practically need a block and tackle to change direction with my big vacuums. With this one, I can actually hold a soda in one hand and vacuum with the other! (Yes, simple things make me very happy.) Its rotational capacity makes turning the vacuum when it’s in a tight spot incredibly easy. I have back issues, and the light weight plus the flexibility makes this vacuum as much of a pleasure to use as any vacuum can be. This Bissell has done a very nice job on what I’d estimate is about 12 square feet of medium-pile carpet adjacent to the kitchen. I do have to run it over the area two or three times, but since I can easily do three runs in 30 seconds, I’m not complaining. On the vinyl kitchen floor, I usually do two runs, mainly because my eyesight is bad, and the design of the floor makes it hard to tell where I’ve already vacuumed. (Guess I need to let the floor get a lot dirtier.) Surprisingly, even set on the “hard floor” setting, my huge vacuums miss what this one picks up, probably because I can maneuver this one and vacuum more thoroughly. The sweeper blades are easy to clean, and the fact that this Bissell really, actually stands up on its own, makes it the vacuum of my dreams. The folding handle works (in both directions), and, while no vacuum is quiet, this one doesn’t leave my ears ringing. I’ve only had the vacuum for about a month, so I can’t speak to durability. (If it falls apart in the next 12 months, I’ll update my review.)

This vacuum fully exceed my expectations. I have been using a cheap, Bissell stick vac for years, and it did an alright job….or so I thought. This thing has the best suction power of any vacuum I have ever used. I have two dogs who are big shedders, and I vacuum the whole house 4-5 times a week. I am shocked by the amount of hair, dust, grass, etc. I empty out of it each time. I have a 2000 sq ft home, and as long as the vacuum is fully (or mostly) charged, it has no problem vacuuming for 10-15 minutes straight without flashing red. I also love how lightweight and maneuverable it is. I had a cordless Shark vacuum about 5 years ago and it was SO heavy in comparison and the charge didn’t last as long. Not to mention, the brush roll got caught up and would stop working frequently… I have not experienced that issue with this one so far. I am praying this continues working as well as it is now, about 5 weeks in, because I couldn’t be happier!

This unique vacuum is so powerful and easy to maneuver. It has an awesome folding mechanism and separates to create a handheld vacuum.
