I recently moved and my belongings are in transit on pods coming from another state. The home I purchased currently has carpeting installed over a beautiful wood floor. I plan to remove the carpeting and have the wood floors refinished, but will be using rugs in the majority of the rooms, so I will still need something for small spills. The very day I moved in, my small dog peed in one of the bedrooms. I was surprised because he is 10 years old and has never had an accident before. I guess the stress of the multiple day drive, hotel rooms, and all the changes has him a bit off center. I appreciate that he never peed in a hotel room! Since my previous cleaning machine is on a pod and I have no desire to live with a urine stain in the bedroom until I remove the carpeting, I ordered this vacuum. Let me tell you, not only is there more suction, I appreciate the little separate part that contains the pet stain water, allowing me to quickly dump it and keep cleaning. The design of the entire machine is so much easier to clean than my other machine. I appreciate that the parts snap off easily so that I can thoroughly wash every bit of the dirty water containers and the handheld attachments. I will be donating my other machine when it arrives on the pods and letting friends know to purchase this machine when they get a pet instead. They truly addressed all of the issues I had with my other brand.

Works well. The handle feels a bit fragile so I am careful not to put too much pressure on the attachment connection when vacuuming. Easy to set up and clean when done.

I love our new puppy, but she is still learning about potty training and there are a lot of accidents. I have this spot cleaner full of cleaner, ready to go for any mishaps. What I love about this device is the clever Stain Trapper Tool that dumps the cleaning fluid and urine into a little jar on the suction tool, so that it prevents the large chamber from getting dirty. That way you only clean the little jar instead of the drudgery of constantly changing the entire machine. It is brilliant! without it, I can tell you that it isnt much different from the other Bissel spot cleaners, which also work. But this is the only one that is easy to keep clean and at the ready. Best $100 I ever spent!

Works great. able to get through the nasty smells an stains with easy. Pretty good power for the compact design. Only thing I would change is the length of the hose it’s self. No complaints tho. Great product.

This is my second Bissell pet extractor. The first one finally died. But, it got me through 4 Golden Retrievers. Following are the improvements: More suction power. Longer hose. Great cord and hose management. Self storing attachments. This machine is better designed for user convenience, and I would recommend for a friend. Also, if you need scrubbing action, I highly recommend using a soft drill brush, also sold on Amazon.

I wish I had this years ago. I use this all the time at present as we have a new puppy, currently 10 weeks old and potty training. But it was also a life saver when we had a sunfoof leak in an old car. It sucked out multiple buckets from the floor of our car. We had those crazy weeks of rain here in Ca. and after the second round of water removal with the Bissel we got smart and got a car cover until we were able to find someone to repair the leak. 1. Works Great with puppy piddles 2. Good suction 3. The brush Does rough up material/carpet a bit, so be gentle with areas you want to keep smooth. 4. Have not used the larger attachment, if its solid I pick up with tissue, then go over it with the regular attachment to lighty clean any smell. 5. Small amount of leaking from the sprayer, but thats normal I think. It happened with the industrial verions we rented to clean all the carpet Overall very useful, helps me stay sane knowing I can clean the carpet better than trying to use sprays, rags and lots of scrubbing

Are you the owner of a new puppy? Do you have a drooly, old dog that likes to leave his mark? Do you have dogs that like to drag in the dirt from outside? This is the carpet cleaner for you! I just purchased this carpet cleaner as a Christmas present for myself. I needed something in between my smaller carpet cleaner and my upright carpet cleaner. This is the perfect solution. It picks up medium-sized spots easily and has great suction for liquids. I noticed that it has better suction than the upholstery tool on my upright carpet cleaner. One reason I really like this is the size of the cleaner. It holds more solution and more waste water than the smaller carpet cleaner that I have. It makes it easier to clean up larger spills. For example, I cleaned up a spilled glass of orange juice and it didnt leave a stain at all! I didnt even have to empty the waste water tank once. Another reason I really like this is the ability for the cleaner to get into small spaces. It has a smaller nozzle for corners and edges of carpets. My sister used it on her carpet to clean up a muddy foot print. She said, I couldnt believe how easy it was to get mud out of the corner of my steps! So if youre in the market for a new carpet cleaner, look no further! Dont wait to buy this!

Bissell is a reputable brand. I really wanted to like this and be able to keep it for small areas that my dogs love to have accidents on. It has great reviews and overall does what it claims, sorta. I am particular though. The suction just was not enough for me. It hurt my wrist after a while having to press down so hard to run the head over the carpet. You cant just go over it once after you spray. You have to add rigorous force to try to brush out any stains. The suction isnt superb, so you have to repeat your motions of removing the water. After reading reviews about the handle part breaking from a bad connection, I was very careful to have a good grip on where the head attaches to the tube. I did not use the carpet cleaner bottles that came with it. I used my Puracy carpet cleaner instead. The cord is super long, but the hose should be longer IMO. As for the soap & water reservoir, it is inconvenient for the cap to be on the bottom (although I understand why) because if you do not line it up just right, it starts leaking. I learned that the hard way and was so paranoid of continuous leaks, that I had it in a giant plastic tray while I moved around from room to room. Too much physical energy required on my end, and Im young and healthy! I dont recommend this if you are prone to wrist strains, elbow tendonitis, shoulder or lower back pain. I did get some good thigh and butt work in though, squatting to clean the hard to reach areas :). Overall, I prefer a professional to come to my house. Their equipment is just better.
