BISSELL SpotClean Pet Pro Portable Carpet Cleaner, 2458, Grapevine Purple, Black

I did not rate this higher because of two things. The tool when installed on the hose is 90 degrees to the job you are working on and that requires you to constantly twist the hose to have the tool flat to the surface. After a while it becomes annoying. I was also not impressed with the suction power of the tool with the collection jar. You can instantly see what is being sucked up and it did not look like much. The standard tool also requires a fair amount of pressure into the carpet to be effective. I also had concerns about the unit venting hot air. The vent underneath is completely blocked when you set the unit on your carpet. The machine is light, easy to use, easy to clean and works on small areas or spots.

I cleaned and washed everything down with it. From chairs to rugs to floor runners, this is a Must have with the pet Pro clean with oxy

I bought this carpet cleaner to wash my car floor and it worked great ! Also stains that I have in my house from puppy accidents were sucked up when it’s been sitting there forever ! It’s a great versatile carpet washer and it all depends what you need it for . The pro oxy urine remover worked great on my stains and I just pretreated them and was able to lift it out with the machine ! Just a reminder if you have a really dark stain that is stubborn it’s all about what cleaning solution you use to really see results !

Love it’s so easy to use. Great to clean couches and stairs. Would love a little more suction, but it’s pretty standard with this type of product

Well... It isnt what I thought it would be, but Im generally happy with it. Be sure to read THE GOOD after THE BAD. THE BAD 1.) I searched steam cleaners on Amazon, and this was recommended to me. I failed to notice that this product is NOT a steam cleaner, but a cleaner/sprayer and suction vac in one. That means it doesnt do the kind of deep cleaning I was really looking for. 2.) The design isnt so impressive. For example, to empty the dirty water tank you need to lift a handle up and over the top of the tank. The handle actually HITS the top of the tank, so I had to wiggle it a little to get up and over. 3.) Suction isnt impressive either. Its not a shop-vac, after all. 4.) In another confidence-drainer, it came packaged with two sample-size bottles of Bissell Pet Pro cleaner. Both bottles have a label that say for UPRIGHT carpet cleaners, with a little silhouette of the hand-held model they were packaged with circled and crossed out. THE GOOD 1.) Despite a poor first impression, the machine worked out okay. It was quick to figure out and easy to use. 2.) The cleaners that apparently shouldnt be used with this model ... I used them anyway. It was fine. 3.) The suction did not impress me, but it was enough to pull up most of the moisture that the machine sprayed onto my couch cushions and La-Z-Boy recliner upholstery. 4.) Ultimately, I had a tank of opaque sludge in the tank that proved it can clean what I wanted it to clean. Maybe it isnt the deep bottom-to-top cleaning that a steam cleaner would provide, but it made my chair and couch look and smell better. For less than the cost of one visit from a steam-cleaning company, I can clean her stuff over and over. So it isnt what I thought it would be, but thats on me for not reading the description carefully enough. Ill keep it anyway, since is did the job I wanted it to do.

I like it except for dumping the waste water container. Its very hard to dump.

The Bissell Spot Clean Pet Pro is easy to use, cleans deeply, and pulls dirt out of the carpet well. It’s easy to fill and to clean. It’s lighter than a vacuum cleaner.

The handheld pet carpet cleaner is adequate. The equipment is easy to use but the suction is not superior. This leaves the carpet damp for several hours after use. I can tell it does pick up dirt as the wastewater is dirty so it is doing the job. However, I was expecting more from the suction capabilities, so this is why I do not rate this product higher.

This is my second Bissell pet extractor. The first one finally died. But, it got me through 4 Golden Retrievers. Following are the improvements: More suction power. Longer hose. Great cord and hose management. Self storing attachments. This machine is better designed for user convenience, and I would recommend for a friend. Also, if you need scrubbing action, I highly recommend using a soft drill brush, also sold on Amazon.

Much heavier then expected. Would have liked a stronger spray. But over all it has been a great help.
