The dust bowel will not stay attached to the main body. If you bump the dust bowel it will fall off. If you use force to attach the dust bowel, then the dust bowel release button will get stuck down and you will have to use a great deal of force to get it back up. Forget suctioning power, filters and battery life, the dust bowel release button makes the whole vacuum useless. I cant recommend this product. I wish I had never bought it.

It is one of the best handheld cordless vacuums on the market. I have a few. I added this machine to my other 20v tools in the B&D lineup. I now have six machines plus another three in the 40v line. These are all excellent and I have had some of them for fifteen years. This vacuum has a powerful suction. It is simple to use, to clean and to store in my garage on a hook attached to wall. 09-23-22. I downgraded this review because replacement filters do not seem to be available at either Amazon or at the Black and Decker website. Yet instruction says replace every six months of everyday use.

The filter is very difficult to remove for cleaning and the filter handle is fragile. For this reason I would look at other options for hand held vacuums. I was looking for a portable hand vac to clean the interior of my car. My older hand vac was great for picking up crumbs, etc. but not strong enough to clean upholstery and floor mats. This vacuum exceeded my expectations. It works nearly as well as the suction machines at Car Washes. I also like having a removable battery, though it is a little cumbersome to switch back and forth between recharging the battery pack and removing it to clean. Still, I would purchase this again.

Does the job if you can keep the filter clean. A more powerful battery could help but not necessary. Easy to clean filter using running water. Good for light duty and light weight portable vacuum.

I use it one time work good. Second time starting, making a funny noise stop working. Never had a problem with black and decker never by again if you buy one good luck.

I like this black and decker 20v battery pack tools. I have a blower, and whacker that use the same thing. Handy but could use a longer extension.

Dislike assembly

Good product but cant find replacement filters for the unit. Very disappointed....

The main reason I purchased this model is that it uses the B&D 20 Volt Max battery. I have an assortment of Black and Decker 20V tools with extra batteries. Just be careful that you do not put the filter assembly in upside down (it sort of fits). The cover will go on just enough to jam, then you will have a real problem trying to get it open again. Overall, I like it.
