Based on previous reviews I was a little worried about how tightly the cap would snap on to the top. I am happy to report that when the cap snaps into place it is very secure and water tight. It makes a satisfying pop sound when it locks into place. After filling the cup with protein goodness I shake the thing like crazy - even in a horizontal plane and the cap has never even been close to coming off. It takes a relatively significant force to pop it loose. I probably would not shake it when the bottle is inverted. It would probably be okay but I dont want to risk having to clean up a mess. After 4 weeks of use the cap is still as tight as it was when I first got it. I have only (and will only) hand wash the cup and lid. This bottle works exactly like I expected with no problems whatsoever. I would buy it again.

I use this to mix my daily doses of kratom with orange juice. Works well with no leaks. Takes up little .space In the backpack

Admittedly, I have not tried any other bottles. But this bottle gets the job down. Shake your stuff up in it without worrying that stuff will get all over. Does a great job in mixing its contents. Hard to open, but thats really more of a plus since you dont want the liquids to get everywhere.
