Very sturdy mechanism and overall excellent quality but mine came with a defect (it would not stay open) so I returned it. I will be ordering one that retracts so I can easily put the wet umbrella on the driver side car mat.

Larger than what I expected but still love it!

This umbrella is incredibly sturdy. This is probably the best umbrella Ive ever wielded, and its look reflects this. It is large when folded up because it doesnt telescope, but who cares? The only reason I would want a folding umbrella would be to put in a bag, but I wouldnt bring an umbrella if I didnt need it, and I wouldnt stick a wet umbrella in a bag, so you might as well carry a larger umbrella that you can share, thatll actually keep you dry, and wont break on you after two uses.

A durable and well made product, I ordered a 2nd one for my wife.

I had already bought a black Blunt umbrella, one of the first to come out, before I bought this one. Unfortunately, I left it behind in the shuttle bus at my job and it magically disappeared when I went asking for it. Not that I blame whoever took it. It is beautiful, well made, easy to open and close, and sturdy. I decided, however, that my next Blunt umbrella would be a bright color, to ensure I do not forget it again in the bus. A friend already has the red one, so I decided on this yellow one. Other than the color, which I like very much, this yellow Blunt is exactly like my old black one. Which is a very good thing indeed. And, although it is not as windproof as Id hoped (it is very windy where I work and one day, coming in to work, a gust of wind turned it inside out), I have to say it is also very sturdy. Because all I did was put it back in its original state and nothing seemed to be broken or lose after that experience. So, while I cannot give it 5 stars, because it did turn inside out on me, Id give it 4 1/2 if I could, because in every other respect it is an exceptional umbrella.

The umbrella works fairly well but it is expensive. It is light and balanced. I havent had to use it under windy conditions yet. The part that was disappointing is that the pictures clearly showed that a matching sleeve with a carry strap came with it. The product showed up without the strap. Customer service has been trying to get a sleeve sent for nearly 4 weeks. The whole thing has been dissapointing consider the premium you pay for the umbrella.

Though this umbrella isnt the cheapest, you get what you paid for. Ive had a Blunt umbrella before but lost it so I bought the Classic black. This umbrella holds its own during high winds and its sleek and stylish. It being stylish isnt so important but its just a nice plus. I highly recommend this umbrella as it lasts a long time.

ZERO STARS. I honestly thought I would love this umbrella, but given that I purchased it, it hasnt arrived and there is no shipment information, Im going with one star. Next time Ill buy a gustbuster or something else.
