> 3 dayWell made with high material, unique and sturdiness. Its a little bit small for me, even I am 56. Package come with a beautiful box and very nice cover. Its compact and easy to carry. By somehow, the umbrella I received has a hole and a mistake when sewing. Contacted customer support several times but have not had any response.

Greater than one weekI have used the umbrella a few times. Once in a gusty environment and so far the umbrella is doing its thing. This is not a tiny or a large umbrella, your arms could get wet and I’d wear a jacket with it. My biggest complaint is some slop I’m the handle, it makes the whole unit feel cheap.

> 3 dayHave not yet used this in the rain but I researched umbrellas prior to purchase. It seems well made and the open/close mechanism appears to work well. I cant give it 5 stars because I havent had it out in rainy weather yet!

> 3 daySummary: Being an engineer, I really appreciate the design work that has gone into the BLUNT line of umbrellas. The single best feature is the contact point between frame and the edge of the canopy, which is not just a single point, as is typical. Observations: This umbrella operates smoothly. My wife loves vibrant colors, which is why I selected the bright tangerine orange (most of the colors are bright and vibrant). This is a compact size umbrella, not small enough to fit in a purse or pocket, but not a full size either. BLUNT makes several sizes, check out their store (link below). Pros: Great fit & finish; innovative engineering; smooth operation. Cons: Cost. Conclusion: At $69, this is a little expensive, but you truly get what you pay for, so rating this 5-stars. > 3 daySometimes I wished it rained more so I could take this out and about. The wind resistance is real and it has been proven of late due to heavy rains and strong winds. The umbrella feels very sturdy and seems like it could last a good while before a replacement is needed. Nice packaging too, that I couldnt bear to discard.

> 3 dayWe have two people in our family who have sustained brain damage over the course of a long life. Both, including myself, have difficulty with the protruding spikes on traditional umbrellas. At some point, we both end up getting stuck by them, often in the face, which is a real danger when our glasses start to slip down on our noses and arent there to protect our eyes as effectively. This umbrella has an incredibly high price tag, and I cant say that I approve of that. It should be, based on construction and materials, around fifty dollars, not seventy. However, the design covers the end points of the spokes in the interior frame that holds the umbrellas shade in place, over your head to protect you from rain. The covering of those end points and the use of rounded edges results in safety that no one else is providing in their umbrella designs. So far, Ive hit myself twice using this umbrella and it hurt less. I wish they charged a more reasonable price, rather than what the market will tolerate, given that many of us buying these are buying them either for people with a disability like myself or people with something like autism, which is why a friend of mine bought one of these for a family member. It does feel like gouging the disabled, and I dont approve. But, again, the product is excellent. It is a very safe umbrella and is much more appropriate for people who have difficulty controlling muscle movements or who have issues with depth perception in their visions or just people like me who end up poking themselves in the face because they cant quite see that edge where the spoke of the frame is sticking out as a little spike that can get me in the face. I highly recommend this, but I hope other companies will step up to produce similar products. To be clear, the frame is mid-level, as to what Ive seen, in terms of thickness of the metal and quality of the little hinges. The fabric is also right at mid-level, not thick enough to prevent wear over time but not as thin as the cheapest umbrellas out there. The handle is not ergonomic or terrible easy to hold for me. The button doesnt open the umbrella all the way, which I have to manually open the rest of the way. Because of all of these issues, I believe it is worth around forty dollars, however, one that had a functioning opening button would be worth around fifty. I hope this helps to clarify some issues. Basically, with this umbrella, we are paying a premium for safety, not the highest quality. In every respect, other than safety, this is a mid-level entry in the umbrella world, assuming everything works, which it didnt on the one we tested.

> 3 dayThis is my second Blunt compact umbrella. The yellow stands out on bad weather, making it easy for a pedestrian to be seen. Living in a small city, its important to pedestrians to stand out so as to remain safe! Blunt design is outstanding, whether in compact or full-size umbrellas! Bravo Blunt!

> 3 dayUnfortunately, this umbrella did not live up to its standards. Opened it on a very windy day, and the shaft just bent immediately. The umbrella panel is nicely designed, but the ribs, shaft and handle are very flimsy and of low quality. Absolute waste of money.

> 3 dayI like the rounded edges and it’s small size but it doesn’t pop down with the button,, only up. Very expensive for what it is.
