The way it was packaged. The box was large enough that the heat pad didnt need to be folded in half. Plus there was no disk to raise the tank for air flow.

I bake bread and needed a way to keep my dough between75F and 80F while proofing. One of these thermostat-controlled heating mats inside a towel-lined cardboard box makes a great DIY bread proofing box. Much cheaper than the commercially available ones that start at about $200.

temp wont set and customer service is awful. my snake could die cuz its too cold, they dont offer refunds, but will ship you a new one. I dont want another one i want to try another brand. It never heated any of my mats. Its a garbage chinese product. They didnt even care about my snakes health.

I was moving my aquatic turtle over an hour and a half away from our old home. This kept my turtle comfortable during the whole moving process. I was able to set him up in a dry holding tank and he stayed nice and warm the whole day I was moving. I do recommend checking the temp of the warm area as I found I had to set the temp of the mat slightly above the desired temp to account for how the heat transferred through the glass. But it is very accurate as the mat was always the exact set temp. It never got too hot or too cold. I would highly recommended this product.

Let me just start over. This product isnt just terrible its flat out hazardous. This heat mat almost killed my leopard gecko. I had the thermostat set at 80. It wouldnt just stop at 80 and hold. It was bouncing all over the place. The readings between that and my temperature gun were always different and it was either a little too warm or a little too cool. Well today my gecko kept coming out of his cave which is unusual since they are most active at dusk/dawn so I decided that because I was using something new I better recheck the temps. While the thermostat was reading at 78, my temp gun was reading at 112 degrees!!!! This almost KILLED my gecko ! Ive packed it up and put it out to be picked up and returned. If you love your reptiles DO NOT buy this product. If I could have given 0 stars I would have. Now Im paranoid about purchasing another heat mat elsewhere. I even wrote to the seller and Ive heard nothing. Not acceptable.

First it is accurate. I have 2 different temp monitors. Second: It doesnt go above 80°. Im using a 45 gallon tank for hermit crabs so I dont need it to. But I have it set to 85° and it hovers around 74-76. That is the range I need it to be so not a big deal. All in all its alright. But if I needed the temp over 80 I would return it.

Gets hot and stays at the correct temperature, but the pad started to fall off two days after putting it on.

The temperature is very accurate it sticks very well and when I had a issue with the sensor/Temperature control going bad the company replaced it over night with out a problem.

Works as intended, it gets hot. I use it with the BN-link thermostat, which I would not recommend that thermostat.
