I did some research on MERV. I found that 8 is to be used in Industrial workplaces and paint booth inlets. Using the wrong MERV is detrimental to your system. Do you due diligence and decide what is correct for your situation. As for me, these are very good commercial grade filters that do as advertised.

These filters appear to be well made of high quality material. They carry a good filter rating and are made in America.

These BNX 20x20x1 filters worked well in my Air Conditioning unit. They are rated Merv 8 so they are good for dust/lint, pet dander, pollen, mold spores and dust mites but not for smoke or microscopic allergens. At $12.50 per filter, they are a bit pricey compared to other brands of Merv 8 filters you can order on Amazon. You may want to choose another brand if you plan to replace your filters every 3 months (as recommended).

Nice filter. * Looks and feels like the higher-end filters I get from Home Depot, without the hassle of driving to the store, only to find out they are out of stock. Which happens more often than I would like. * The back of the filter has a bit more cardboard support than other filters I have purchased. Which should help prevent the filter from becoming concave from getting sucked into the AC filter housing.

Haven’t used yet but the quality seemed strong and decent. Looks exactly as presented. The sizing is correct. I usually get the Merv 13, but I figured I would try the 8 as it’s still a high number to help filter as much out as possible. I will update when I install and let you know how long it lasts and if it filters out what’s needed. I will be using it in our downstairs wall vent for our HVAC heating/cooling system. Usually I change about every 3 months so we will see if this lasts that long regarding how filled up or none at all. The quality material seems decent and not flimsy like some. Came packaged well wrapped with two filters nicely in its own separate box safely. All is the way it should be and not bent it folded. So far so good seems like a good brand and filter thus far. Not much to say, nice MERV 8 HVAC. Fits into the 20x20 recess and works fine as a replacement for the older filter.

I have finally gotten around to installing the filter in my AC vent. The air that comes out of my AC is clean and I am glad that the filters are doing its job of creating an enjoyable environment. You can tell that these filters are quality build and will withstand daily and constant use. Looking forward to ordering more filters in the next 4-6 months when I start to run out!

We change our HVAC filters monthly. These filters work well. They filter out a lot of dust, pet hair, you name it. They fit in the holder well. They do not collapse, or even flex very much when the system is running.
