BoatBuckle G2 Retractable Transom Tie-Down, 1 Pair

I read about all the troubles with the mounting hardware, but I was mounting these to my trailer frame since my transom tie down mounts are towards the center of the boat on both sides of the engine. Due to this, I had to buy 3/8 x 4 bolts from the hardware store. The installation was super easy. I wish that Boat Buckle sold a through frame mounting kit as well with the longer bolts, so I didnt have to make another separate purchase. The tie downs are super easy to use as well and are much better than the Fultons they replaced.

Works. great just what I needed.

I installed this on my MasterCraft boat trailer in about 10 minutes. I did purchase longer bolts though ahead of time as the included bolts were not long enough. Other than needing longer bolts though its a quick install and the product works great.

Like the idea of this but I find it come loose after driving for a bit. You have to keep tightening it after some time

Received these yesterday and installed them on my Tracker trailer (trailer came with my Tracker Pro Team 175 TXW) in about 45 minutes. I thought I would need the additional mounting kit but it turned out that I didn’t. I simply bent the ears that the current straps connect to on the trailer about 20 – 30 degrees to the inside (toward the motor) of the trailer and they mounted perfectly using the existing holes. They are very well built, look good on the trailer, and function perfectly. Unlike the straps that came with the boat they install in about 15 seconds and best of all they stay tight! I highly recommend them!

Easy install and makes it just a little quicker when loading and unloading boat. No excess strap flapping in the wind.

They installed in a few minutes and work just great. 2 holes, 2 bolts and done. They certainly make loading and unloading the boat much easier. Like others have said, get your own hardware. I didnt even try the provided hardware because the bolts were too short for my trailer.
