BoatBuckle G2 Retractable Transom Tie-Down, 1 Pair

Wish I had purchased these years ago. No more messing wish unattached straps. I needed to purchase the adapter brackets because the way my trailer was built but well worth it

I have 2 of these on my boat trailer and 4 on my ATV trailer. They work great and are so much better than monkeying around with separate straps. Ive had to replace ALL of them because the straps started fraying. Ive taken one of the old ones apart to see what it would take to replace the strap (dont do this the spring comes out with a vengeance). Its not possible with the current design to replace the strap without taking it apart which is so wasteful. The only other problem they have is the straps stretch not much and I doubt its enough to be an issue but it does concern me. The ratchets themselves are solid Ive had 2 boat trailers with them and the 4 on the ATV and only had one that the mechanism failed on.

This was a good replacement for the transom ties that I had to cut (not mentioning exactly why, but a big mistake). I like them a lot and they are very strong and durable.

These tie downs are the best. I dont know how I ever got along without them. I thought about purchasing another brand that were less money but after comparing the reviews I decided to buy these. I also purchased the mounting kit after trying to figure out how to mount them without it. I couldnt find a way to do it. My only gripe is why do they not come with them? Anyway, I give these 5 stars. I will be buying another set for my other boat.

Sometimes small simple things make all the difference. I installed these to replace the manual buckle fit tie downs that you see on almost every boat. Its so nice to pull up to the ramp click two buttons and youre ready to go. Same thing when you pull the boat you dont have to rummage through the back of the truck to remember where you put the tie-downs just pull connect couple of clicks and youre on your way. Great add to any boat and well worth the money!

Strong and looks real good on my trailer dont have to worry bout taking buckles off and putting them n the truck r what but now I can get my boat n the water faster by just one click of the buckles
