Greater than one weekI used to use 100W lamps under the house in 25 deg temps to protect plumbing, but 100W lamps are getting rare with modern LEDs replacing them. These heat lamps help to protect the pipes. The only minor problem I had is being sure they are actually on since they dont put out any visible light. No real temperature control, they are either on or off as far as I can tell
