18-11-2024I use these for tortoises, chameleons and pythons. The price is great and they work just as well, if not better, as the brand names.

> 3 dayI have a 2 month baby bearded dragon, and even with his 100 watt basking bulb 10 away i couldnt get the temperature where i needed it (the temp was stuck at 80-85 degrees in his basking spot). this is a great addition and he now has the perfect heat gradient in his enclosure! I got the 150 watt ceramic heat lamp and I keep it 24 from the bottom of his enclosure, right above his basking spot. his basking spot is now at 100-105 degrees and the cool side from 80-85. definitely recommend for reptiles who need high temps with large enclosures (mine is a 48x24x24).

24-11-2024I have 2 sulcata tortoises. I made a wooden cage that is 8ft long by 4ft wide. The 2 flourscent bulbs heat them up wonderfully. It has done fantastic for their shells.

> 3 dayThis bulb was putting out a lot of heat at first, I was pleased. However, about a week later, its hardly putting out any heat at all. This is a problem for an animal that requires very warm temperatures. Ill be looking for other solutions.

> 3 dayDONT LEAVE IT ALONE! I really hope this was just a defective bulb. Not going to risk it by testing the other. 15 minutes! 15! It arrived today and 15 minutes after turning it on I smelled it burning. I was about to leave and I am so relieved I caught it before I did.

> 3 dayUsing this emitter for my bearded dragon in replacement of a red heat lamp. I think he likes the darkness it provides at night. He likes to bask under it like normal and sometimes likes to go up and lay right under it. I think that the light could be better in terms of the length in which it provides heat. it is about 18 over my beardies basking rock and it gets noticably cooler as my hand gets closer to the rock.

> 3 dayThese work great in my 20 gallon tank for my bearded dragon. I’ve had these for about a month and so far I have had no issues. Still working great, i these hooked up to a timer, so set and forget
