These bulbs definitely warm up enough that even my poults don’t stay directly under the warmth but on the outskirts. Highly recommend when moving off a red bulb to go to this bulb. It helps the poults/chicks to adjust to natural light between the time you move from brooder to outside

Half the heat output it should’ve had and I’ve had similar ceramic heaters last years The first time I used was out after 2 weeks Definitely a no for me going forward

I have 2 sulcata tortoises. I made a wooden cage that is 8ft long by 4ft wide. The 2 flourscent bulbs heat them up wonderfully. It has done fantastic for their shells.

This bulb was putting out a lot of heat at first, I was pleased. However, about a week later, its hardly putting out any heat at all. This is a problem for an animal that requires very warm temperatures. Ill be looking for other solutions.

I used this to keep my hedgehog warm. Worked perfectly!! Bought my daughter one for her hedgehog as well, worked great even though she has a different heater and set up.

Im SO disappointed in these bulbs. Lasted 71 days!!! Ive had others, for the same cost, last a couple to a few years. Super bummed my tortoise probably froze overnight because I wouldnt have guessed there was a possibility that it would burn out so fast. I deserve my money back!!! Amazon doesnt seem to care about how much total GARBAGE they let sell on their site.

these have been working great for our leopard gecko to stay warm at night. Havent had any issues with them so far and used them for about 5 days I believe
