> 3 dayIf you enjoy having slight bass at all dont get these. After 15 minutes of wearing I literally couldnt listen to them anymore from how flat the sound is. Not saying Im looking for an extreme skull candy vibrating bass effect but in these its completely nonexistent. If you listen to Orchestra or something with no bass get these. If you wanna train hard in the gym dont get these. I tried adjusting with the EQ and it just made it sound boxier. The EQ is a scam, why would you need to EQ an already professionally equalized song that a producer with a $200k - $500k budget already finished. After being an avid Bose fan from my 35 experience these were beyond subpar for the price.

> 3 dayHave had a couple of pairs of QC35s and got these. There werent any EQ adjustability until recently (just like a week ago), and limited firmware -- so thats been a sticking point -- and honestly made the QC35s probably just as nicer or nicer -- but glad to see they are slowly getting better.

> 3 dayI still have qc 35s and love them. The battery life has decreased a bit over 6 years, but they still work fine for many hours. I bought the qc 45s for my wife after trying Beat. The Beats headphones were actually painful after only 20-30 minutes. Fo long flights the headphones need to be comfortable for several hours and the qcs (35 or 45) are simply the best.

Greater than one weekI actually preferred by QC 35 II, because while the noise cancellation is slightly better with the 45s, you couldnt hear the 35 II working, whereas you hear a slight buzz or static noise when the QC 45s are cancelling noise, particularly if the environment is not really noisy. Try sticking your phone to your ear in a silent room. That is sort of what you hear in the QC 45s. I thought it was a defect and ordered replacements. The new ones were definitely better, but not as purely silent as the QC 35 II in a quiet room. Otherwise, the design is great.
